Dr. Dylan Frederickson started his first veterinary practice in Logan Square 2014 naming it "Boulevard Veterinary" as a nod to the historic Boulevard systems in Chicago. Following strong growth of the practice in Logan Square due to a dedication to AAHA standards and personalized client and patient care, Dr. Dylan decided to open a second location River North--another pet-friendly Chicago neighborhood rich in history. About Dr. Dylan

Dr. Dylan Frederickson grew up on a small family dairy farm in central Wisconsin. This background helped forge a lifelong respect for animals which compelled him to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine. Following completion of his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Dr. Frederickson attended the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison, WI, graduating in 2006. After a short stint of both large and small animal practice in Wisconsin, Dr. Frederickson moved to Chicago and began exclusive small animal practice. Dr. Frederickson lives in Logan Square with wife Kelly, their dog Woody, and cat Smokey-Panther.

What better way to roll into the spookiest time of the year than a costume contest?! 🎃👻🐾

Submit a photo of your pet(s) in their best costume to [email protected] now through Monday, October, 28th. Our team will then vote on their favorite look. The picture that gets the most team votes will get to donate $500 to one of BLVD’s Rescue Partners! The winner will be announced on social media this Halloween, Thursday, October 31st.

Friends & Felines 🐈‍⬛

Join us at our open house event! We warmly welcome you and your cats to check out the new space, enjoy some treats and participate in some cat-centric activities. We’ll be utilizing our exam rooms so your cats can have some much deserved privacy to have their picture taken in our hissing booth or to complete a fabulous pawcasso painting for you to take home.

The first 25 RSVPs go home with a BLVD Cat tote bag. We are so exited to (quietly) gawk at your cats! It will be the purrfect way to ring in meowl-o-ween 🎃

Our friend Alfie (and cat-daughter to River North Practice Manager, Juli,) was the goodest girl during her ultrasound! Did you know that we have our own ultrasound certified technicians? This way your pets can receive the care they need from a familiar face.

Our team is growing! 🩺

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Claire Silberman to the Ravenswood team!

Dr. Silberman is beaming with excitement to meet you and your pets! She brings a gentle kindness to the room that will make you and your pets feel right at home. Dr. Silberman volunteered at the local animal shelter growing up which helped confirm her path in vet med. Fun fact: as a kid, she even started her own neighborhood dog walking business! She continued to give back during her time at St. George’s University through its community outreach programs, which helped owned and stray animals on the island of Grenada. She says it's her goal to continue her passion for community outreach to help as many furry friends as possible. When Dr. Silberman isn’t at BLVD, she enjoys spending time with her collie Maizey and exploring all that Chicago has to offer. Please join us in welcoming her!
