Beth was found by Animal Control in rough shape. They reached out to MCP Rescue and Outreach to get her transferred to get the help she needed. We hospitalized Beth on Tuesday night with a very low temperature and severe dehydration. She was warmed and started on IV fluids. On Wednesday morning, she was wagging her tail and greeted our technician with kisses and snuggles! She still has some healing to do, so she headed to foster today so she could get big and strong! #RescueOfTheWeek
Khalie is just the sweetest girl that she couldn’t help wagging her tail, even though she was still recovering from anesthesia. Khalie is with Chi-Town Pitties, Inc. and came in to be spayed this week. We loved her and wanted to share just how sweet this little pittie lady is! #RescueOfTheWeek P.S. some more cute pictures in comments
This kitten is so tiny she fits in a pocket, and that’s why her name is Polly! This little bottle baby is being fostered by our very own Dr. Kompare and was rescued by Community Animal Rescue Effort - CAREwhen she was abandoned at their shelter. We have gotten the joy of watching this little one grow over the past 3 weeks since she comes to work so she can get her feedings. She’s just too dang cute, it’s pretty hard to get any work done! #RescueOfTheWeek P.S. more cuteness in comments
Science Fun!
Our new shipment of Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody arrived today and our technicians had some science fun 👩🔬 with the dry ice it shipped on!
Zena might be the easiest cat to give subcutaneous fluids to ever! Also, check the comments for her smolder 🔥. Zena hadn’t been feeling 💯 since she was sprung from Chicago Animal Care and Control by Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control . Dr. Kompare was able to check her out and gave her some fluids to help her feel better. We just fell in love with her sweet personality and gorgeous face so she had to be our #rescueoftheweek
Love when my patient wakes up calm but happy after surgery.
