Science Fun!
Our new shipment of Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody arrived today and our technicians had some science fun 👩🔬 with the dry ice it shipped on!
Zena might be the easiest cat to give subcutaneous fluids to ever! Also, check the comments for her smolder 🔥. Zena hadn’t been feeling 💯 since she was sprung from Chicago Animal Care and Control by Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control . Dr. Kompare was able to check her out and gave her some fluids to help her feel better. We just fell in love with her sweet personality and gorgeous face so she had to be our #rescueoftheweek
Love when my patient wakes up calm but happy after surgery.
Catalina getting her doctor prescribed scritches in the ICU ward. It takes more than medicine to heal. Forever Fortunate Felines pulled this septicemia cat out of CACC and is in our care. The septicemia and anemia are likely from blood loss and infection from a tear in her uterus and a retained placenta.
Looking for the best biscuits in the Midwest? Check out our Rescue of the Week, Sterling with Catvando TNR. His specialty is “air biscuits”, where he makes them out of thin air! Sterling came in for an Exam after losing some of his beautiful fur, where we put him to work massaging Dr. Kompare’s shoulders after she had a long hard day.
This little lady swallowed a whole tennis ball. Had surgery yesterday to remove itand she’s all ready to go home.
Biscuit Brad is our smallest amputation surgery patient. He’s a 1.25 lb fighter and a purr machine.
Video after splint removal. Much better breathing. Glad SVS could work with Forever Fortunate Felines to make this kitten’s life so much better.
Kitten when he was breathing his abdominal wall and sternum moved inward rather than outward.
Our quality control employees have approved our front desk treats.
