Riggs and I had a wonderful time at the Working Aussies of Virginia (WAV) ASCA Stockdog trials this past weekend!

Riggs brought home:
High Combined Started
High Combined Non-WTCH
4 - High in Trial
And our 1st Belt Buckle!

The competition was excellent and everyone should be extremely proud of themselves and their dogs.

Thank you to everyone for the encouragement, advice, stories, good times and friendships that will never be forgotten!

There's always ups and downs to trials!
Sometimes runs go smooth as butter and well sometimes....
If I had a dime every time I heard get out of the stocks eye....
Well I’d basically be sitting on a big ass pile of dimes🤣

We have a select few young adult Aussies available already housebroke, crate trained, and with basic obedience training. They are well-socialized with people, other dogs, cats, and horses, and have been exposed to livestock and basic herding training. These dogs are also familiar with farm chores and are known to be couch surfers, shotgun riders, and enthusiastic toy players. This is an opportunity to skip the puppy stage and acquire a well-rounded companion without the high cost typically associated with such dogs. If you’re interested in one of these well-rounded Aussies, please PM us. We will be selective to ensure the best fit for both dog and owner.

Congratulations to Anthony and Maya on their triumphant first ASCA Trial hosted by Greater Atlanta ASC! Their determination shone through as they achieved qualifying scores in all runs on sheep, with Maya earning 'Most Promising Newcomer.' Anthony said the event was a true success, made possible by the excellent facility and supportive people. We can't wait to see what the future holds for this talented team.
Maya is a Kash x Rose pup "2022".

Rainy Weekends🌧 & Wet Dogs💦🐶

Rainy weekends can be enjoyable with wet dogs, especially when you have effective obedience training. Our dogs are trained to get on a towel to dry off and stay until released, making life easier for all of us.

I FINALLY got to be the Supervisor today😆
Grizzly gathered and drove the goats into the lower pasture. Matt started small and was just the gate closer... Grizzly and I will get him trained up eventually😅
