Dog attacks have been a theme with intakes this kitten season. Gibbs is another tiny baby that lost his entire family, including his mom, to a dog attack.

When Gibbs came in he was tiny and had bite wounds. He was with an amazing foster and with round the clock care, he has grown into a handsome boy looking for a home to call his own.

Does anyone remember Croissant and her beautiful babies?

This family was rescued from a rural shelter. Once they were transferred, the kittens were not thriving. Our vet initially thought that they were not getting enough to eat. The family was transferred to a foster to supplement the babies with a bottle.

The kittens really continued to struggle. As they became a little older, it was obvious that something was wrong with them. They were diagnosed with CH.

CH is a genetic disorder that you can read about below. Because of their condition. They will need specialize care during spay/neuters. They are 6 months old and need to have surgery soon. Their surgeries will cost around $12k. Your donations help provide care for kitties like these.

Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) is a non-progressive developmental condition in cats that affects the cerebellum, which is the part of the brain that controls balance, coordination, and fine motor skills

Thank you to our fabulous community. We are at almost 40% of our goal.

Posting this part again because my pictures didn't post.

We have several unique cases that we are currently working on with our wonderful vet.

This litter of kittens came in when a community picked them up because their neighbor was throwing rocks and chemicals at them. They were initially in bad shape and our fosters were working with them to get healthy. Unfortunately, they all begin to limp. Xrays show that they all have broken bones. It is believe that they have staph infection that has moved into their bones. They are currently on the protocol for staph infections. If they recover, at least these 2 are going to have to have surgery.
Your donations helps pay vet bills for cases like these and these bills are $$$s.

Your donations go to help for emergencies like Lucky's hernia. Without your help, we are unable to help kittens like him.

Lucky had made his way to a local shelter after being bitten by a dog. He was given a clean bill of health by the shelter vet. Just 2 days after being pulled, he developed a hernia and had to have emergency surgery. Hernia surgery for kittens are over $1k.

Here are a few of our featured kitties in their new homes

Flower - lost his paw and his tail, but is living his best life and doesn't know he is different.

Spyder - grew into a handsome and sweet boy with his new brother

Cadence - the vet decided that her leg healed well enough without doing a full amputation. She found her soul mate and living her best life

Zorinia and Lucky - were adopted together. Lucky had no lasting problems with being bite or having surgery at such a young age.

Your donations help with these success stories.

There are so many expenses that aren't covered by adoption fees. Bottle baby supplies are so expensive. Just one small container of kitten formula is $35. A single kitten goes through at least a few containers and whole litters can go through containers in a few days. Your donations help cover some of these expenses.

Your donations help cover vet bills for desperate situations like Flower. This picture shows a kitten that has been on its on to long. What you really can't tell is that he has been shaken near death by a dog.

He was rushed to the vet. They were able to stabilize him. He did lose his paw and his tail, but is living a happy, playful life.

Your donations help with supplies like antibiotics, flea treatments and dewormers.

Zorina came in at less than 1 pound. She was sick, covered with fleas and had a heavy parasite load. She was able to get immediate treatment and grow into a sweet loving girl.

Our Story

We are a small, informal 501(3)(c) non-profit rescue group. We hold mobile adoptions every Sunday at the Petsmart at 5500 Greenville Avenue, Dallas (near Lovers Lane) from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm. We also do adoptions at other Petsmarts and Hollywood Feed stores on Saturdays, so check out the Events calendar.

If you see a kitty for adoption you'd like to meet, let us know ahead of time by texting us at 214-356-9126. We specialize in rescuing cats and kittens deemed unacceptable by animal control facilities and other groups. These animals may simply be the wrong color - for example, black cats often take longer to rehome - or they may have special needs. They may be FIV positive, have a chronic medical condition or physical scars acquired before rescue, or recovering from an abusive past. Rescuing special needs kitties is expensive, even though our vets give us discounts when possible. Please support us! You may donate directly to us by visiting Paypal.
