8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday/Tuesday

8 a.m. to 6:00 p.m Wednesday - Friday

10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday/Sunday

Our mission is to promote responsible pet ownership through education of pet owners. We believe that fostering a relationship with the public through pet adoption and foster families demonstrates responsible and proactive behavior on behalf of the City of El Reno. We also help control the spread of animal-borne diseases by seizing public nuisance animals within our city limits when it is absolutely necessary.

Our application is available on the City of El Reno website (elrenook.gov) under the employment tab, as well as from the police department. Applications will be accepted until the vacancy is filled. .

We would like to thank everyone for all the donations that have been coming to the shelter. The mama and pups are doing good. Please consider coming to visit the shelter and adopt. We have shelter full of wonderful fur-babies that are waiting for their for-ever home and you won’t be disappointed. All adoptions are $95.00 on dogs, which covers spay/neuter. Vaccines, rabies, dewormer, and a microchip. If you have any questions please call 405-262-6941 or PM us on here and we will be happy to set up a time for you or you can just come by.
