Medicinal mushrooms are often marketed as "full spectrum" which might lead one to think they are a more "whole food" and thus effective product. This article explains why this marketing term is misleading. VivoAnimals uses fruiting body only, rigorously tested cordyceps and reishi extracts in our ZeoComplete.

There's a lot of confusion out there about what full spectrum really means and it's very different from what you might think.

Hello and happy spring!

It’s out with the old and in with the new this Spring! Don’t worry, we are still offering the same great products you know and love. We are excited to now be offering them with a new look and more sizing options to better serve our customers.

If you’ve logged onto our website lately, you may have noticed things look a bit different. Please bear with us during renovations, they are almost complete.

In addition to a new, fresh, non-species specific look, we are offering different sizing options. Here is a list of the changes:

-All products will now come in “omnidegradable” packaging. Less plastic, better for us and the planet.

-Discontinued “ZeoCompleteEQ 2:1”

-“ZeoliteEQ” 15 lb bag has been replaced with an all-species label in an 8 lb bag.

-ZeoComplete now comes in 3 sizes! 12 oz, 2 lb and a new 5 lb bag

-ZeoClear now has an 8 oz bag option for those with smaller pets

-No more “ZeoClearEQ” 8 lb bag, the large ZeoClear option is now a 4 lb bag.

We eliminated some of the larger/heavier product sizes due to the availability of the eco-friendly packaging and the max weight we can ship these bags without them breaking open in transit. Please let us know if you have any problems with shipments!

At VivoAnimals, we strive to offer affordable and accessible products while ensuring our ingredients are ethically sourced and of the highest quality. As with all things the last few years, the cost of everything from raw ingredients to packaging to shipping has gone up. Unfortunately, this means we had to raise some prices to meet these increases and still provide a product that meets our standards.

I'll start by saying that I am very skeptical of supplements and feel like many, if not most, don't do what they say. When Dr. Zamzow mentioned ZeoComplete, I didn't have much hope that it would work for our arthritic pigs. But within two weeks of using it, we could see noticeable results. The biggest difference we saw was in a senior 500lbs pig named Ethel who lives at our sanctuary. Ethel was having a lot of problems walking. She screamed in pain during feeding times and never left her house. Her arthritis was so bad we were considering when we might have to say goodbye and if she would even make it through the winter. Within two weeks of taking ZeoComplete, Ethel was running for breakfast. It was amazing. She would stay out all day grazing, lay outside on good days, and has a new lease on life. This supplement works great, and we are so lucky we found it.

We began giving this supplement to one of our animals and saw results after two weeks. Lucy's coat was soft and lustrous. This stuff works great.

We use Cinnamon in our ZeoComplete formula. Cinnamon is a blood sugar regulator. It contains a polyphenol that mimics insulin, activates its
receptor and works with insulin in the cells. Cinnamon enhances peripheral blood flow and has anti-
inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-microbial properties.
