Canidae, Earthborn and Taste of the Wild seem to be the hardest to get at the moment - we're doing what we can to keep as much as possible on order, but availability varies from week to week.

"K9 Kookies LLC is an ambitious business endeavor kicked off last summer by Waldoboro parents, Danielle and Jason Stewart, for and with their lovable, often goofy, and delightful 18-year-old son, Landen. Danielle and Jason knew they needed something to teach him job skills that would keep him happy and fulfilled as there are limited opportunities for the non-verbal, Fragile X syndrome, and autistic Landen to pursue. They’re also hoping that profits can be used towards an all-important Autism Service Dog in the future."

Our final Low-Cost Wellness Clinic of the year is taking place on Friday, December 15th from 10am to 2pm at the Harpswell Town Office. We will offer an expanded menu of veterinary services, including Rabies vaccines, Distemper vaccines, Bordatella Vaccine, Lepto Vaccine, Microchips, Lyme Vaccine, Heartworm Test, Feline Triple Test, and Dewormer. Save the date for Bids & Brews at Maine Beer Company in Freeport on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Join us for an evening of silent and live auctions, free pizza, and all the fun that comes with outbidding others for a good time and great cause.

Two of a Kind duo, Chris and Rob from local favorite Time Pilots, will also be on-hand with live music, giving a fantastic vibe to the evening. Admission is free (but donations will gladly be accepted at the door).

Silent auction selections will include a wide variety of items and services generously donated by individuals and local establishments. The live auction will feature signature trips and VIP experiences.

All proceeds from this event will help alleviate some of the increased financial burden HART has taken on this year due to an increase in surrendered animals requiring costly medical care. This fundraiser will help HART continue to do the excellent work of helping abandoned cats survive, thrive, and be ready for adoption into their next forever home.

We are excited to announce the ARLGP's fifth annual Shelter Sleep-In happening on Friday, November 3rd! We've got 18 participants geared up to out-fundraise each other in an attempt to be crowned the 2023 Shelter Sleep-In CHAMP.

We're inviting YOU to participate in the fun at our Sleep-In paw-ty on November 3rd between 5-8 pm before the participants spend the night in the shelter with one of our four-legged friends. But until then, our contestants need your support!

"The plaintiffs asserted that Hill’s prescription diet was not legally obligated to be sold with a prescription, which allegedly rendered the representations made by Hill’s as false...
The lawsuit also claims that defendants engaged in deceptive practices in the manufacturing, distribution, marketing and sale of prescription diet pet food at above-market prices. They allege that prescription diet pet food lacks substantial differences from non-prescription pet food and does not contain medically necessary ingredients that justify its price premium."
