We have been receiving quite a few inquiries about the canine illness being seen in Northern and Central Oregon. Below is a link for more information. At this time we are not aware of any cases in Southern Oregon.

*****ADOPTED*********Lainey was found at the dump. She was scavenging in the trash piles when a kind person got her to safety. She weighed about 53lbs, and her tummy didn't feel very good from whatever she had been eating. After a nice recovery, we are so glad to see Lainey well on her way to her goal weight (her last weight was 73lbs, and she still has a few more to go).

We are estimating Lainey to be about 5 years old. Throughout her stay, Lainey consistently impresses us with her kind demeanor, nice manners, and affectionate personality. When meeting new dogs, Lainey is polite and tolerant. She knows when it's time to calm down and will gladly sit by our feet while we work. When meeting new people, she'll quickly come in for a leg lean or a good nuzzle. She is an A+ shelter guest!

I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. It is $165 to bring me home!

UPDATE: Home with owners!

2 dogs found running loose in our parking lot! Are they yours? We have them in our kennels for safekeeping and have left a message on the number provided by the microchipping company.

Greta Rae - she is beauty, she is grace! Greta Rae is our longest resident currently and is so ready to go home with you! She would be best as the only animal in the home, but she loves human children a lot. She’s a sucker for kisses and snuggles. Her lust for life is all the more reason to love this girl! Come out to meet Greta Rae Monday - Saturday, noon - 4pm.

Happy Halloween from Lincoln Road Vet! Our staff really got into the spirit of things- we had a cow fish, a horse, a giraffe, a ladybug, an axolotl and a unicorn all working hard today. And Calypso the hot dog was happy to be there, too!
We hope everyone and their pets had a fun (and safe!) Halloween, and we'd love to see you and your pets' costumes!

Did you know that this week is Veterinary Technician Week? To celebrate we are enjoying lots of treats and dressing for Spirit Week. Each day has a different theme, and we are enjoying dressing up!

We will be closed on Labor Day, Monday September 5th. We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday September 6th.

While we all know people food can often be harmful for our pets, it is especially important to remember this around the holidays. Avoid sharing any sweets or leftovers with your furry friend. By keeping these potentially toxic foods out of your pet's reach, you will not only ensure the safety of your pet, but it will help keep the extra pounds off during the holidays.
