So all we had to do was start talking about bringing color back into the racks. And the rats provided.
These two girls are being pulled next week as holdbacks for future production.
But they are 2 of the darkest that I've seen produced in the racks, at least in the last 7 months.

They're sweet girls that don't mind being handled.

So I fully recognize that these are not reptiles. 😆

But when there are so many snakes to feed.
Breeding rats is kinda part of it.

Recently I've decided to take some of the feeder stock, and breed them for pet quality. With an initial goal of bringing color back into the colonies.

This will be my first set of pairings.
With one male blue nose albino Dumbo.
Two albino Dumbo females.
And one blue nose albino female (already pregnant. )

I'm hopeful for some colorful babies.

I do find the Dumbo to be a bit more docile when handling.

All presented with some color or pattern as infants that was overpowered by the albino.

I know I do not post much, but I want to thank for liking this page. Here soon I will start posting as a normal routine. I have been taking some time off to take care of some life stuff and making changes with my collection. I do have a couple of clutches on the ground and a majority of them will be available. I will also start posting YouTube videos again very soon.

In 2016, I decided to face my fear of snakes after watching most of Brian Barczyk’s videos. I called BHB Reptiles and asked about purchasing a Female Albino Ball Python. I requested that Brian hand pick me one of his choosing. They said yes, we can have him do that. After receiving that Female Albino, I called them back to see what the hatch date was, and come to find out, the hatch date was the same date as my daughter Regan Robison birth date. That snake means the world to me and it totally changed my thoughts on snakes and led me to decide to start breeding. Thank you for everything you have done for the reptile community and to the world itself. This community would not be what it is today without your determination and drive. You are the one and only legend in this community. I also want to thank the Barczyk family for sharing him with the world. RIP my friend. You deserve all the respect. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten and will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

On behalf of the Barczyk family and our entire team at The Reptarium, it is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Brian Barczyk.

More than the guiding light of our organization, Brian's fervent passion for reptiles and wildlife, along with his steadfast dedication to education, has touched innumerable hearts and minds globally.

Our deepest sympathies are with Brian's family, his friends, and all those whose lives he has touched. We've lost an exceptional individual – a visionary, mentor, and friend. For those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him, Brian's absence leaves an immeasurable void.
As we navigate this difficult time, we find comfort in the memories and the lasting light of Brian's work. He will be deeply missed but indeed, never forgotten.

First Time Momma. Breeding was a Spinnerblast x Sunset. She laid 12 good eggs and 0 slugs. She did a great job and eggs are in the incubator.
