It is with heavy hearts we make this post. Over the last 3 years we have been fully engulfed in Bair Bum Lambs, and we have loved every single minute of it! Unfortunately due to the drought and the rise of other commodity prices, we have decided to take a step back from our business. We will be closing our doors the end of the week. Our first, and foremost, priority is our family and especially our little girls. With all of this in mind, Steph and I have had numerous talks about our business and our future. These talks have lead us to make the best decision for ourselves and what’s best for our family. We have made the decision to close this chapter of our book. This decision has not been easy and we are very saddened. We can never thank you all enough for all of the love and support you have shown us. We have loved all the fun times we’ve had together. We hope to stay in contact.

Hello welcome to our page!! Our names are Jared, Stephanie, Macie,and Hallie. We own and operate Bair Bum Lambs. Our story started in 2013, when Stephanie and I got married. We added Macie to our family in 2016, and Hallie in 2018. Steph grew up in Pocatello as a “city slicker.” I grew up on a family farm, until 2007 when my family sold the farm. With shattered dreams and a desire to farm, we looked for every opportunity to start a farm of our own. In 2019 while working as a farm manager in Osgood, Idaho , that opportunity showed itself in the form of sheep. After hard work and some minor set backs, we are grabbing life by the horns and are ridding this out. Stephanie and the girls work the every day operations and take all the credit of the operation. Having sheep has changed our life!!! We love what the animals teach our girls. Things like responsibility, work ethic, and money management. As our story continues we are focused on you, the everyday people who keep us in business. So all of us here at Bair Bum Lambs pride ourself in meeting the consumers needs past present and future. What a crappy day Saturday!!! Literally we spent the afternoon cleaning the barn out prepping it for the remodel this next month. That was a job but as a family it was a blast! Anyone want some manure/compost/fertilizer? Hit us up and we can get you taken care of.

🎶 It’s moving day! It’s moving day! 🎶

After being cooped up in the barn for months, these ladies were thrilled to be back on pasture!!! With their new haircuts, sunshine, no babies or boyfriends to take care of, and super tall grass for them to munch on! It was like they were on a crazy girls trip haha! They seriously acted like they had died and gone to Mama Ewe Heaven! 😂 Hallie was having a blast running through the pasture too! It was such a fun weekend! I just love working hand in hand as a family!

Usually shearing sheep can be pretty stressful. 🤪 We honestly can’t believe just how smooth things went this year. We know without a doubt, that it’s because of the amazing crew we had helping us. We made so many fun memories and laughed a ton along the way! A very special thank you goes out to my Dad, Amber, Crapo kids, Josh and our amazing Shearer Stephen Lusk! The only regret... I wish I would have taken more pictures, especially of our awesome crew!
