This afternoon our staff had the opportunity to meet Beth from Czar's Promise and learn more about their mission and all of the good they do!

The money we are raising for the Inspiring Hope Walk in October goes directly to supporting families with the cost of cancer treatment for their furry friends!

🐱Today is National Take your Cat to the Vet Day! 🐱🩺
The goal of this "holiday" is to bring awareness to the fact that more than 50% of pet cats in the United States do not receive yearly visits to their veterinarian.
In contrast, more than 80% of dogs in the United States receive yearly visits!

Prevention is the best medicine. Cat's are naturally stoic animals, often hiding injury and illnesses. Yearly wellness exams are just as important for cats as they are dogs. Yearly exams can help our veterinary team find issues early, increasing the odds of successful treatment!

Today is Check the Chip Day!
It is important to check that your pet not only is microchipped, but that the microchip is registered and the information is up to date!

On , we're sharing a few important reminders on the importance of microchips - such as:

➡ 1 in 3 family pets will get lost
➡ Microchipped dogs are more than twice as likely to be returned to their owners and microchipped cats are more than 20 times as likely to be returned to their owners

And remember - while microchips greatly increase the chances that pets will be reunited with their families if they are lost or stolen…a microchip only works if its registration information is accurate.

We had such a blast today with our Nail Trim Fundraiser! We raised a total of $345!!!!! Bringing our overall fundraising total to $1,203 so far!!!

Do you need a safe place for your pup to go during the day on the 4th of July? Our clinic is closed, but our boarding staff will be hard at work caring for the pets staying with us over the holiday!
We have select availability for day stays (same day drop off and pick up) for dogs on the 4th!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to hold a private tour as a part of UW-Madison's 175 year celebration tour. It was a great opportunity to showcase our facility and how our team works together to provide an awesome standard of care to you and your pets!

As we finish off Pet Preparedness Month, it is important to consider your safety plan for severe weather, especially after the severe weather we faced last weekend.

Having a tornado emergency kit for you and your family is important, don't forget to include your pet's needs when stocking up!
Having an evacuation bag or "go bag" ready for your pets can help you respond to emergencies quickly and more efficiently!
