Cooper has made great leaps in his confidence. He sits on the cough with us, and he wants to be pet often. He's incredibly sweet and playful. After the new year Cooper will be ready for a forever home.
Paw Prints Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue. We help dogs with dire medical needs, many who would be euthanized without our help, and hospice dogs.

Forgotten Tails Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer dog and cat rescue organization serving the Polk and Pasco County areas. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high-kill shelters which are in dire need of medical attention and are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation. We also rescue dogs and cats which are in danger of abuse or neglect and abandonment.
Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and are placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs and cats in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. To the extent our finances allow, dogs and cats in the greatest need take priority.
During our adoption process, we take considerable care in finding loving, responsible, committed permanent homes for the animals ensuring not only that the adopter(s) is happy but the pet is comfortable and content in its new a home before the adoption is finalized. Our rescue offers potential adopters the option to foster a cat or dog for 30 days and either return the animal within the 30 days or permanently adopt the animal at the end of the period.
