Brrrrrr... there's a chill in the air these mornings and nights! Lots of leaves falling and the season is coming to a close. It's a bittersweet feeling for a farmer. This has been an amazing season and while we're looking forward to a bit of rest we can't help but be excited for what's in store next year.

We had a lovely evening on the farm Thursday, September 18th 2014. Chef Nicholas Ames of C**t & Gray Restaurant created an unforgettable 6-course meal for us and 20 guests. Our produce and chickens have never tasted so good!

Looks like we came through the cold snap just fine! Growth is slow, but so far it looks like we haven't lost anything. We'll get a better look as the day continues to warm up.

It's hard to believe that just a few days ago we handed out lettuce, arugula, chives, bok choy, spinach, radishes, mint, oregano, and pea shoots in our CSA. Today the fields are covered in at least 6 inches of snow and it's still coming down!!! We did our best with protective coverings, but are anxiously awaiting Wednesday when temps rise and we can peek to see what crops survived. Spring certainly keeps us on our toes!!

We are so thrilled to have had our first harvest and CSA distribution this weekend! Pea shoots, arugula, radishes, mint, and chives. Thank you so much for all our wonderful members who came out to spend some time with us.

We are picking up our new rabbits tomorrow!! The beginnings our our breeding stock. We will be raising Silver Fox rabbits - a threatened heritage breed.
