I'm recovering from an unexpected bout of pneumonia which kicked my butt recently. However today was such a beautiful day but I'm not well enough to ride so Cooper learned how to free lunge instead.
I'm so lucky my students indulge me in my crazy ideas. Tonight's lesson was bareback soccer! I think everyone had fun.
Huge shoutout to this fantastic young rider on joining the canter club! Not only did she have a big cheering section but the smile and hug to her amazing horse after totally made my day!

I had fun training Zipper today. He finally recovered from a shoulder bruise brought on by a kick from another horse. Today I lunged teaching him to move without me driving him forward. Then I saddled him up and rode but that video went corrupt on me so I can't post that one. He was pretty quiet but did do some protesting about the bit and moving forward. Also got him back on the trailer again. He is so scared of that thing! Some more sessions will get him there. I
