Does you dog have GI issues or BAD GAS? Lactic Acid Yeast from Standard Process can help!

Lactic Acid Yeast aids in acidification of the GI tract and offers support for the intestinal flora. Many feel that an acid gastrointestinal tract is essential for health. By eating processed foods, an alkaline gastrointestinal tract develops. Not only does this inhibit protein digestion, it also doesn't allow for proper assimilation of minerals like calcium and iron. This product converts carbohydrates to lactic acid which produces an acidic gastrointestinal tract. Lactic Acid Yeast is indicated in the patient that has intestinal gas. Gas producing organisms thrive best in an alkaline environment. Also, Lactic Acid Yeast may be beneficial for individuals with diarrhea, foul stools, malassimilation disorders, and constipation.
