Your pup will have their own secure area away from other dogs, plus extra one-on-one time with our staff to chase that ball, sniff to their heart's content, and get all the lovin' and attention they need.

We are t-minus three weeks out from the 4th of July! If you know (or suspect) your dog gets anxious from the loud sounds, now is the time to contact your vet for calming meds, or stock up on any supplements you know help your dog manage stress.

More pets go missing on the 4th than any other day of the year - be prepared and make sure the whole family enjoys a safe holiday. We'll follow up with some more tips before the big day to help you prep! 💚

Let's talk safety!

When your dog comes in for the first time, we go through a process of acclimating your dog, getting to know them, and introducing them to the group setting slowly. Only once that we are confident that it is a good fit all around are they allowed in general group play.

We have their comfort and safety in mind, as well as all of the other dogs in our care, and you can feel confident knowing that EVERY dog goes through this to ensure safety for the whole pack.

Unlike the dog park, you know that all of the dogs have been temperament tested, vaccinated, and have 100% trained supervision. See you in the pack! 🐾🐶

Boonie (Bruno) was found!!
On Thursday, Boone, a sweet rescued pitty staying in a boarding facility for his very first time, managed to climb/jump our 6 ft fence and bolt. I am thrilled to say I called my friend (and cousin) Roxy who has Little Mountain K9, and her scent dog Cash. She drove from Mt Vernon 2 days in a row to help us search for Boone. We didn't give up last night in the wind and rain, until he was found in the woods near Raspberry Ridge Golf course.

We need to thank SO MANY people for making this happen, but mostly our Rover employees and family for making and distributing hundreds of posters and alerting everyone including:

-US mail people,
-Fedex drivers,
-UPS drivers,
-Tractor drivers,
-Bike riders,
-Walkers,
-Whatcom County Sheriffs office who spread the poster via email,
-Lynden Police department,
-Nooksack Disposal garbage drivers,
-Truck drivers in the county,
-Meridian School bus drivers,
-All the Vet clinics,
-Our employee Danielle who updated sightings and coordinated and did LOTS of calling behind the scenes,
-Whatcom Fire Department who spread the poster to all their stations via email,
-Whatcom Humane Society and many other businesses.

Thank you all for keeping your eyes peeled for any siting of him.

Thank you to all the Rover Stay Over employees who spent their personal time, gas, driving miles and miles, checking roads, walking fields, and making and spreading posters.

Thank you, Sarah and Payton who manned the Gator to check the 500 acres of grass, blueberry, and raspberry fields around Rover and miles of ditches. I owe you for the pile of sausages from McDonalds we used to try to tempt Boonie out of the woods!

Tanya, we appreciate you putting your drone in the air and searching the berry fields and along both sides of the stream.

Ken, Cannon, and Kaleeyah, thank you for hours and hours of searching over the last few days in forest, roads, alerting neighbors, and every person you came in contact in that time.

Syd, thank you for sleeping outside to watch for Boone, being my partner in army-crawling through brush, bushwacking through thick bramble and woods, walking the Nooksack river and streams for 6 miles, and searching tirelessly till dark and after dark each night.

Thank you to our community for searching and praying for the safe return of this pup to his owners. Thank you to the owners for trusting in our resources, community, and connections- I am sure they felt the love. Thanks Whatcom County, for letting us disrupt your neighborhoods and roads and for checking cameras and spreading the word far and wide, and not giving up. We sincerely appreciate each and every one of you helping us bring about this miracle and happy ending.
