The 2025 Breeding Season Has Begun! 🐍✨

Kicking things off with Nova, our beautiful young female Pinstripe Pastel Double Het Pied Clown, who was more than ready to join the active breeding group! Today, I introduced her to Stone, one of our standout males, a Banana Leopard Double Het Pied Clown who gave us an incredible clutch this past season.

Within an hour, these two were already locked! 🔒 Now starts the exciting (and long) process—about six months until we can expect babies. With these two amazing snakes paired, we’re anticipating some stunning variety in their offspring.

Stay tuned for updates—this is just the beginning! 🥚🐍

Meet this stunning ball python, ready for her new home just in time for Christmas! 🎄🐍

Her genes are Pastel and Spider, also known as a Bumblebee, and she’s possibly het for Clown and Pied—which will only matter if she has babies down the road. She’s super healthy, friendly, and her pixelated patterns look like she came straight out of Minecraft! 🟩🟦

If you or someone you know is looking for an amazing pet, feel free to reach out. She could be the perfect new addition! 🎁

Exciting news! We’ve got a few snakes ready for new homes. 🐍✨ Two are young babies, just hatched a little over a month ago—super healthy, beautiful, and eating like champs! The third is a bit of an older boy, a proven breeder with an awesome mix of quality genes, perfect for anyone looking to add to their breeding projects or just looking for a larger snake to skip some of the baby phases. Super excited to share my top three keepers from the latest clutch! 🐍✨

First up, I’ve got a full clown 🤡 —definitely my favorite so far. This one’s a Butter Pastel Clown and might even have Spider in the mix. 🕷️

Next is the yellow and orange one with those thin lines, which is 66% het clown. That means there’s a 66% chance it carries the clown gene. I’m planning to do a genetic test to confirm, but honestly, I’ll probably keep it either way because it’s just too badass! 🔥 It’s a Butter Enchi Pastel Spider, by the way, which includes all possible genes from both mom and dad, especially if it comes back positive for het clown.

And finally, the darker one with the crazy patterns. This little one shows Butter, Leopard, and Pastel, and is 50% het for both pied and clown (so there’s a 50% chance it carries each gene). Definitely going to test this one too! 🧬

I’ll share some better pics once they all come out of their eggs. Loving how these beauties are turning out! 😁

🤡
The first baby has finally come out to stretch, and we got a little surprise with it! This gorgeous Pastel Clown ball python has an interesting trait near the tail called a "ringer." It almost looks like a Pied, which we also work with, and for a moment, I thought it might be a Pied Clown! But then I remembered the mother has no Pied genes, so that’s impossible.

We’re still unsure who the father is since this was a dual-sired clutch 🐍🐍. Might be looking into some genetic testing in the near future. Fun times ahead figuring this out!

Exciting news! The first clutch of the year has hatched at Ronan Reptiles, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome! 🐍 While I was really hoping for a blue-eyed Lucy, I’m super happy with this clutch and can’t wait to watch them stretch out and explore.

This was a multi-sire clutch, and it’s pretty clear for most of the babies who the sire is—many are showing butter and/or Enchi traits. The one on the top left definitely looks like a Leopard, and the Clown on the top right? Well, that one’s a bit of a mystery… possibly some pastel in there too, which might give us the answer to who the daddy is.

Looks like some genetic testing is in order for a few of these potential holdbacks to prove out the hets!

Exciting news from our snake room! 🐍 Nola, our beautiful ball python, just laid her first clutch of 7 gorgeous eggs! She's been an amazing mama all year.

Here are the details:
- Mom: Lesser Pastel Spider Het Clown
- Dad: Enchi Lesser Het Clown
- Possible Second Dad: Leopard Banana Het Clown/Pied

We're not sure if any babies will come from the second dad, but we're hopeful for some surprise banana genes in the clutch. Due date is around September 12th, and if the odds are in our favor, we should see some incredible Blue Eyed Lucy and clown combos!

Stay tuned for updates—this clutch promises to be diverse and thrilling! 🤞✨
