The indoor arena at Boulder Creek is large and spacious allowing for multiple people to use it at once without over crowding. There are two outdoor arenas and an outdoor round pen as well. Boulder Creek is conveniently located just a short drive from the Iowa Equestrian Center at Kirkwood for those that like to show. The stable is also near Matsell Bridge and Squaw Creek Park for the trail riding enthusiasts.

We are looking for someone with Horse experience to lead and support the daily barn chores Saturday - Monday (More days may be available as well). This person will work around horses and lead the daily barn chores. Chores include cleaning/bedding stalls, feeding, turnout and turn in. Significant Horse experience is required. Compensation would include free board at Boulder Creek Equestrian Center.

If so, we have the perfect job for you! We are looking for 1 or 2 people who would be able to work 7:30am to Noon on some Sundays and/or Saturdays during the month. We are willing to work around your schedule.

Previous experience working with horses is required.

In search of a hard working horse lover! Needing someone that can work mainly weekend and also in search of someone with flexibility to work weekdays too. You would be doing chores such as stall cleaning, turn out/turn in, cleaning up the area once stalls are finished, dumping tractors, and giving fresh bedding. Horse experience is necessary. Boulder Creek's latest Clydesdale model, Tina's Fortune, was born last night to our mare Alamar Tina. His sire, Belleau W.S. Luke, is one proud papa! Tina is all business when it comes to foaling. If you blink, you miss the whole thing!

Boulder Creek is offering 3 hour day camps Monday Dec 27th - Thursday the 30th! There will be morning & afternoon sessions (9-12AM, 1-4PM). Participants will learn the basics of safety, grooming, harnessing, & driving the cart!

Wow, wow, wow!! 🤩
Yesterday we hosted our Fall Festival at Boulder Creek and it turned even better than we could have imagined! Not only was the weather perfect for an outdoor day at the barn, but we had an amazing turn out! So many people came in excited to see the barn, participate in all the fun activities, and meet the Clydesdales! It was absolutely incredible seeing the joy the horses brought to everyone! So many genuine smiles & excitement around the barn! The atmosphere was inspiring! 🥰

We want to extend our gratitude and thank everyone who contributed to the day & came out to visit! We loved having you there and look forward to seeing you again! 😊

Our Story
