Today the staff was treated to delicious cookies from a sweet client and a Bundt cake from one of our reps. They also got some cool clipboards and “killer” brownies. Needless to say, we are full of sugar around here today.

We love our amazing staff and appreciate them every single day but we are excited to show them just how much they mean to us during Vet Tech Week! Our receptionists, techs, and assistants are invaluable to our hospital and we couldn’t do it without them! We love you guys!

Today was Dr. Tuttle’s last day at GPAH. We will miss her so much but we know she will do great things in East Tennessee. We wanted to show her how much we appreciate her with a delicious lunch from Erling Jensen’s. We love you Dr. Tuttle and remember- this isn’t goodbye but see you later!! ❤️

Happy AAHA day to GPAH!! Did you know that only 15% of veterinary practices in the US and Canada are AAHA accredited?? The AAHA accreditation means that the hospital has met the highest standards of animal care possible for our patients. GPAH has been a proud member for over 25 years and expects to be for another 25 more!! Special thanks to the GPAH staff for their hard work and dedication to our patients and their families! Also congratulations to all of our fellow AAHA hospitals—not an easy title to attain and maintain😺🐶

The veterinary teams that run AAHA-accredited practices don't just have high standards, they have the highest standards. Today (and everyday) we celebrate their excellence! Happy !

Starting in August, we will no longer be open on Saturdays. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we hope to be able to offer Saturday hours again in the near future. Dr. Zinkus and Dr. Mays will continue to be here for you and your pets during the week as always.

We are sad to announce that Dr. Tuttle will no longer be with our GPAH family as of August 1st. She and her fiance will be starting a new journey in east Tennessee. We have been so blessed to have her here and couldn't have asked for a better person and doctor to be a part of our team. While we will miss her terribly, we wish her the best of luck in her new adventures!!!

Heatstroke is caused by the inability to dissipate accumulated heat. It results from exposure to a hot and humid environment or from strenuous physical activity/exercise.

‼️ If your pet is showing signs of a heat stroke please call us as soon as possible!! This is considered a medical emergency!
