This page is dedicated to helping horses in the slaughter pipeline. They have a deadline and WILL ship if their fee isn’t paid in time.
They are NOT owned by our rescue. We are helping to network them out before their time is up. That is why we made this separate page just for them - to prevent confusion. With that said, we are within all the guidelines.
All horses are located in Middletown, Virginia 22645 and that is where they can be picked up. We will do our best to accommodate any and all pick up times. We also have haulers available. Please pm the page to request a shipping quote.
We strongly recommend quarantining these horses for 30 days. Some horses get sick, some don’t. Horses may appear healthy but may be carrying something that can be spread to other horses. We do offer this service. Message the page for info.
Each horse has his own post with a photo and video (if available). Any other information we’ve received on them (papers, notes, freezebrand info etc) will be listed in the comments. We do our best to evaluate their age, soundness, behavior and performance. We are not vets. We have just met these horses. We are very good at what we do but have no way of guaranteeing anything. All horses are sold as-is.
Most horses do not come with a coggins. If you have to have a coggins, we can arrange this with our vet for an additional fee. Coggins is $44 plus farm call (this is usually split). Health certificates are $50. Our vet can do this as well.

If you’d like to start a fundraiser for a horse, you may do so on your own page. You must let us know that is your intention and you must put 50% down for us to hold that horse while you raise funds.
This is a drama free page. Negativity of any type is not allowed on this page or others posts are shared to. You will be blocked and banned. Negativity prevents horses from finding good homes and we will NOT tolerate that. If something on our page gives you heartburn - take a Tums and keep scrolling like a normal functioning adult.
