Veterinary Medical Associates (VMA) was established in 1971 by Dr. William Wetmore and certified by the American Animal Hospital Association, AAHA , ever since. The practice has always been deeply involved in nurturing and sustaining the human animal bond, initially with dogs and cats. When Dr. Jeff Kahler joined VMA in 1991, the list of animals expanded to include rabbits, pocket pets, birds, rep

tiles and more. There are few things in life more special than the bond that exists between companion animals and their caretakers and we at VMA continue to dedicate all we do to nurture that bond. Toward that end, we have expanded our practice through the incorporation of state of the art diagnostic equipment including digital radiology, ultrasonography, echocardiology, advanced surgical equipment and techniques, and an enthusiasm for continued learning and a progressive approach to medicine. However, all the equipment in the world never takes the place of our personal approach and interaction with our clients and their companions, something our dedicated staff entirely believes in.
