Veterinary Medical Associates (VMA) was established in 1971 by Dr. William Wetmore and certified by the American Animal Hospital Association, AAHA , ever since. The practice has always been deeply involved in nurturing and sustaining the human animal bond, initially with dogs and cats. When Dr. Jeff Kahler joined VMA in 1991, the list of animals expanded to include rabbits, pocket pets, birds, reptiles and more.
