We are a non-profit community garden helping to promote healthy eating through local produce. The Federal City Community Garden would speak to all these needs.

Goal: There is a growing demand for locally produced organic food - born of diverse factors that include concerns about food prices and safety; a desire for stronger community ties; and an interest in healthy, sustainable, environmentally aware community-based agriculture. Federal City has a tremendous opportunity to establish a liveable community for the people of New Orleans.
