Erik-Peter Mortensen's Monthly "Get Your Video Scored" Contest!
Monthly Winners get original music scored for their video by Erik-Peter, a shout out on Erik-Peter's Social Media and Patreon sites, & can share the scored video on their social media!
Top 12 Finalist Videos will be announced on or about the 1st of each month. Participants may be of any age. The "Get Your Video Scored" Contest is designed to give people an opportunity to add original music to their short videos between 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
The Top 12 monthly Finalists will have their "Get Your Video Scored" videos featured at the end of the year in a “12 BEST "Get Your Video Scored" compilation

No age requirement. Your video can be as simple as kids dancing or pets playing or scenery you’re driving by. BE CREATIVE! It's up to you! But the video must be created & owned by you.

Submission Requirements:

Eligibility: Anyone, Anywhere can enter.
Contest Period: (1/1/2019 – 12/31/2019)
Monthly Deadlines: All submissions must be submitted by the last day of each month to be considered for the following month’s scoring prize.
Winners and finalists will be announced around the 1st of each month.

Animals Are a Part of our Lives

Animals Are a Part of Our Lives is a non-profit animal shelter located in the Bronx in New York City. Our 501 (c) (3) number is 27-0303277. For the last ten years, we have rescued cats and dogs from the streets of N.Y. and provided them with food, shelter, medical assistance, and placement in permanent, loving homes. We currently have 21 cats and 4 dogs, and all of them need shots, medical assistance and new owners. We also participate in an ASPCA-sponsored Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, which the ASPCA describes as "the only proven humane and effective method to manage feral cat colonies". This helps feral cats by reducing competition for food and space and curtailing the spread of disease, enabling them to live healthier, longer and more comfortable lives. Just as importantly, it also benefits the community by largely eliminating nuisance behaviors like spraying and fighting and by drastically reducing the number of new feral kittens born, many of whom would otherwise have gone on to strain scarce city resources and burden the already overcrowded animal shelter system.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to keep our doors open, much less continue to provide any of these vital services, without continued financial support from you. We are now gladly accepting donations of any size to help support the more than 25 animals we have rescued. Please click on the "Donate" icon above (next to photos) to make a tax-deductible donation.

The costs of providing food and medical care for our animals is very high and continuous, and it is only with the support and generosity of people like you that we can continue to care for these animals until they can be placed in suitable, loving homes (a daunting task, since the shelter system is currenly overwhelmed!).

$1 will help buy a can of food for an animal for a day.
$5 will help feed 5 cats for a day.
$15 will help with feed about 17 cats for a day.
$25 or more will help feed and shelter all our animals for a day.
$50 or more will help with ongoing medicare.

Anyone who has an animal, knows the costs for caring for an animal is very high. Now imagine as a shelter having more than 25 cats and dogs! Again, we need and appreciate all the help you can offer as an animal lover!
