Hey 👋

My name is Corynn and I tend to be the crazy behind this farm. I farm while living with a chronic illness that makes things tricky, but I enjoy being outside in the flowers. I also enjoy playing softball during the summer. I’m also a doula and have supported so many beautiful families. Babies and gardens? It’s pretty perfect.

What started out as a small hobby, has now blossomed into a full blown passion for growing and providing an experience for our community. I really like to grow things, like, a lot.

I have two kids who seem to grow way too fast. No longer the tiny toddlers who would shuffle behind me. Now I have big kids who love to help us on the farm (for payment of course 😂). Life’s seasons go way too fast.

My husband and I have been together for 13 years and it’s been an incredible adventure. He’s the fan to my flame of ideas. His encouragement and willingness to build me all the things has really made this farm happen. We make a phenomenal team and it’s so nice to sit back and enjoy it with him.

We’re excited for 2024 and the big changes we have made and we hope to see you at the farm!

Where are the eggs?

We’ll have not put any eggs out during the freeze because it’s just too cold.
The eggs are freezing faster than we can collect them. We will have eggs available when the freeze moves through.

Right now, they are just frozen egg rocks. 😂

Thanks for your patience!
Stay warm!

It’s that time of year.

That time of year when orders are being placed and packages start to arrive to prepare for the next season.

I spend a lot of time doing product research. Making sure that our purchases benefit us as a small local grower, but also for you, our customers.

We aim to keep our costs low, that way they stay low for you as well. But that doesn’t alway happen.

This year while purchasing seeds. The same seeds I’ve purchased for the last several years. I noticed an influx in cost. Like everything else: good, gas, clothes, etc.

When you see a change in our pricing, it’s to cover this change.

For example:

In 2021 we paid .25¢ for each egg carton.
In 2023 we paid .50¢ for each egg carton.

In 2021 we paid $4.75 for a pack of cucumber seeds.
In 2023 we paid $7.95 for the same exact packet.

In 2022 we paid .36¢ per pot.
In 2023 we paid .47¢ per pot.

These are just a few examples of how inflation affects small businesses. Everything to labels, compost, fertilizers, seeds, bulbs, you name it, it has increased.

It’s important to me to be transparent. I love what I do. I love providing for our community.

There are several ways you can support your local small businesses and I highly recommend it!

Ways to support:
-Like, follow and share.
Like their posts, follow their page and share their posts. It’s a quick and simple way to help their business grow. It makes a huge difference!

-Buy their products!
Buying their products is a direct way to put money into your local economy. You are directly helping that local business owner, not a big corporation.

We couldn’t do this without our community and we are so thankful for you all.

We hope you stick around and watch all the new an exciting things we plan to offer in 2024!

It finally feels like fall around here.

The high tunnel is cleaned up for the season.

The you pick area is growing for next year.

The new chicks are doing great and we’ve had little loss (which is normal from travel).

The big hens are slowing down with these short days. But there are eggs at the stand.

Even though we are not actively growing outside. This time of year still has us moving. Lots of prep work starts now to prepare for next season.

You will notice our eggs are in the fridge outside the farmstand. Stop by and grab some eggs this winter and peep through the farmstand windows to see what’s growing!

It’s been a great year!

‼️This weekend is our LAST WEEKEND of produce!‼️

Everything is being harvest from the tunnel.

Stop by and fill up a bag of produce, can some tomatoes, make some jalapeño poppers. Whatever you like, but there is enough to go around.

Fill up a bag and pay what you would like, we just don’t want it to go to our compost!

We have an insane amount of jalapeños!

The farmstand is self serve and we take cash and Venmo.
We have bags at the stand for you to take home your goodies.

Thank you for another wonderful season!

❗️This is the LAST WEEKEND for U-Cut!❗️

Our season is wrapping up as we prepare for next season.

Stop by this weekend (9/2-9/3) and cut some glorious flowers. They make perfect gifts for teachers, friends and for yourself!

The u-cut is $25 per jar, filled with the beautiful flowers you cut.

We take Venmo and Cash.

The u-cut is self serve. Please be mindful of your feet, as this is a working farm. There are bugs and critters everywhere. There are no public bathrooms and please no pets.

We hope you stop by this weekend to grab some flowers.

It has been an incredibly successful year, thanks to you all! We are so grateful for this community.

Where are the eggs?!

We know so many of you have stopped by for eggs and have seen we are sold out.

So I thought I would share what’s going on.

We took down our chicken run to make room for the new flower area for next year. We built these awesome chicken tractors to move our chickens around. While we love these tractors, they just don’t fit into how we want ti raise chickens.

We rotated out old flock to bring in new girls to help with production. BUT! We went from 80 birds to just 35. We halved our flock and it shows.

What does that mean?
Well, we don’t produce the same amount of eggs. Which means when we do have the few dozen available, they are gone quickly.

What’s the plan?
We obviously need more chickens. 😂 oh darn. We are working on getting a new area set up for them and getting back up to 100 birds!

This will take some time, but we will get it done.

We appreciate your patience and hope you will stick around for the new eggs!

The tractors will be for sale next spring!

We appreciate you all!

Our beloved family dog went missing from 179th and Pendleton in Rochester.

He’s an old dude, hard of hearing and poor eyesight.

He’s a sweet old man, his name is Tinker.

If you see him, please let us know!
He can be skiddish to new friends, sitting and calling to him might be the best chance to having him come to you.

We appreciate you!
