SERENA THE LABRADOR RETRIEVER MIX FINDS HER NEW FAMILY AND IS ALL SMILES. Serena our 3 year 2 month Labrador Retriever mix is all smiles this evening, (pictured), as she found her fur-ever family. Her new dad, Gary has been looking for a while for his next furry friend after his previous dog passed away from cancer. When Gary saw Serena's bio he was immediately attracted to Serena's story. And today the wait is over as Gary who finally had his chance tomeet Serena, who is now heartworm negative. Kisses were shared, paw shakes were exchanged, and smiles were shared as they both were looking forward to being a family. And tomorrow will be Serena's first trip to the beach with her new dad. Congratulations Serena! We are so happy for you. Enjoy your new family!!!

IN MEMORY OF COSMO THE TERRIER MIX - ONE SWEET AND LOVING BOY. This past Thursday, 07/16/20, Cosmo,(pictured), the sweet and adorable 8 1/2 year old Terrier mix lost his battle with leg cancer and crossed over the rainbow bridge. Cosmo and his sister Willow were rescued back in 2011 by Paws 4 Humanity Inc and in Feb 2012 Cosmo found his new family with Mike and Cyndi Blache. Willow found her fur-ever family the same day.

Cosmo will surely be missed as he was one very loving boy. He enjoyed playing with his sisters Koda the husky mix, (also a Paws 4 Humanity Inc adoption), and Karley, the Border Collie mix who was adopted last fall. Cosmo you are with the angels now. Rest in peace sweet boy. We all love you and will miss you. You will always be remembered.

BOSS THE AMERICAN BULLDOG / BOXER MIX IS SHOWING OFF HIS BIG SMILE THIS EVENING. "Hi this is Boss the 7 1/2 year old charismatic Bulldog / Boxer mix and I am smiling from ear to ear tonight as I found my new home with my new fur-ever family this afternoon (pictured lower R).

My new family, Bill my new dad, and Pat my new mom, were so excited to meet me and take me home that they drove 3 hours today to meet me this afternoon (pictured L). And my new family is no stranger to the Boxer breed as their 11 year old Boxer had a wonderful life with them until he passed away from a rare form of cancer a month ago.

And I can honestly say my new family adores me just as much as I adore them. Bill is a really cool dad,(pictured top R) and Pat and I have already made a special connection so I look forward to many happy years ahead with a lot of quality time, snuggling and just living life to it's fullest.

And thank you Paws 4 Humanity Inc as who would have thought that a year ago I was rescued from the euthanasia list at the Cartersville, GA shelter by Paws 4 Humanity, transported to Jacksonville, FL by Morgan and Jason, two Paws 4 Humanity Inc volunteers, and then nursed back to health from two raging ear infections, major skin and coat issues, and eye infections. And today, I now have a loving family that I can call my own and live the life of a dog that I was meant to be. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! to everyone who helped rescue me. BARNEY THE YORKIE IS ALL SMILES TODAY AS HE SETTLES INTO HIS NEW HOME. "Hi there this is Barney the handsome and always adorable 8 year 4 month old Yorkie and I am all smiles today as I found my new fur-ever family yesterday with my new mom, Betty and my new dad, Dale (pictured L). I am going to be one spoiled pooch as my new family treats me like royalty - yes you can call me "King Barney". All I need is a crown as my throne is a permanent spot by my dad on the couch or in his lap. And I love my new mom as I follow her around like a shadow hoping for a snack, hug or a kiss. Usually if I sit pretty enough I will get all three!!

So as I continue to settle into my new home this week I want to thank Paws 4 Humanity Inc for taking such good care of me and showing me the way so that I could find my new family that I can love, share smiles, (pictured lower R), and cherish fur-ever!! LET THE PARTY BEGIN. H***H THE HOUND/LABRADOR RETRIEVER MIX CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY WITH HIS NEW FAMILY. " Hi there this is H***h the just turned two year old Hound / Labrador Retriever mix and yes today is my Birthday! And the best birthday gift that I could have is finding my new family with Maggie and Kevin, back on April 10th, 2020 thanks to Paws 4 Humanity Inc.

How can you thank someone for giving you back your life, in this case my life where I am now the happy and loved and the dog that I was meant to be. A year ago I was facing euthanasia at the Cartersville, GA shelter. And today I am with a wonderful family who loves me, treasures me and spoils me (I really like this one). Oh what a difference a year makes!

So as I celebrate my two year Birthday today with my family I just want thank everyone who helped in my rescue, helped me find my fur-ever family, and to Maggie and Kevin for choosing me as their pampered pooch fur-ever!! And my advice to everyone out there who is feeling down or defeated, stay focused on the future, keep the hope, stay strong, stay well and stay positive and you too can face even your darkest hour and come out the other end stronger, more resilient, and more grateful for each and every day. ADOPTION UPDATE - KAYLEE THE STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER / LABRADOR RETRIEVER MIX - 8 YEARS LATER AND ENJOYING HER NEW HOME IN COLORADO. "Hi there this is Kaylee the now 9 1/2 year old Staffordshire Terrier / Labrador Retriever mix who was adopted into my fur-ever family back on 05-14-12 - Yes 8 years ago!! I am just one of the many Paws 4 Humanity Inc success stories. And I can honestly say I adore my family, Rick, my Dad, and Anne, my Mom, so so so much. Last year we moved to Colorado and I really enjoy the cooler weather as compared to the Florida heat and humidity. I enjoy going for walks with my dad in the snow and the cool air and consider myself a snow dog. Give me a sled and I will pull you anywhere!!

My Dad sent the following adoption update and pictures to Paws 4 Humanity Inc; "Hi Paws 4 Humanity Inc. I hope you’re doing well in these strange days.
May 14th marked Kaylee’s 8th year with us. She is getting a bit older and grayer. She still has a lot of energy and loves her walkies. Turns out she prefers cold weather of Colorado over the heat and humidity of Florida. Actually, both Anne and I do too🥶. Take care and I’ll update you again next year. One picture is from today (pictured L), the other, eight years ago (pictured R)."

It's difficult to tell which picture was taken today and which one was taken 8 years ago. The gray is the only hint that gives it away. ADOPTION UPDATE: JET AKA JERRY THE TERRIER / CHIHUAHUA MIX HAS MADE THAT SPECIAL CONNECTION WITH HIS NEW FAMILY. "Hi there this is Jerry now known as Jet the 4 year 10 month old Terrier /Chihuahua mix and I am having the time of my life even during this crazy pandemic, with my new family Karren, Richard and Maggie Mae my West Highland Terrier older sister (pictured L).

My mom, Karren sent the following update to Paws 4 Humanity Inc, " Jet is such a good boy, he really is adjusting VERY well here with Maggie, they are like two partners in crime. LOL They look so cute together, and when one has an appointment and comes back home they are all over each other. So they have already started to bond. Between the two of them they keep us hopping, which is good exercise for us. He really is a momma's boy, (pictured R), and I just love it. We sure love him."- Regards, Richard, Karren, Maggie & Jet.

DRAKE THE HUSKYDOODLE PAYS A SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO HIS MOM AND ALL MOMS OF RESCUE DOGS OUT THERE ON MOTHER'S DAY. "Hi there this is Drake, (pictured), the 6 year 3 month old HuskyDoodle, Face of Paws 4 Humanity Inc, Rescue Dog, CGC Certified and Certified Therapy Dog wanting to wish my Mom and all of the Dog Moms out there a very Happy Mother's Day! We appreciate everything you do for us each and every day and not just on Mother's Day.

Especially during these stressful times you are our rock, you are the glue that keeps the family together, and you are our inspiration and ray of light and hope, even during these changing and stressful times. We know it is a juggling act taking care of us dogs, taking care of and home schooling the kids in the family, being at home and safe quarantining while at the same time trying to do your job from home, and running the household.

And through it all we just want to say you are our Heroes, our Inspiration and our Shining stars and we love you, we thank you and we salute you for being there for us. And for my Mom I love you very much and for all of the Dog Moms out there you are truly loved, appreciated and cherished. JERRY AKA JERRY JET IS LOVING HIS NEW FAMILLY AND SETTLING RIGHT IN. "Hi there this is Jerry, now called Jerry Jet by my new family, and I can honestly say I am really digging my new family. They love me and I really love them with all of my heart. My mom, Karren, I follow her around like a shadow and my dad, Richard, I found a special spot right in the middle of his lap where I can snuggle, and my BFF and new partner in crime and older sister Maggie Mae, the West Highland Terrier, I truly adore her and we play chase me games until we crash (pictured L).

My mom sent the following update and pictures to Paws 4 Humanity Inc: "Jet is doing well. Doing better each day, sleeps all night with me and follows me everywhere I go. LOL He is such a JOY. Thank you for introducing Jerry aka Jerry Jet to our family!" Karren, Richard and Maggie Mae.

And I have to say I love to go for walks, or should I say strolls with my family (pictured R). Maggie Mae and I share a super buggy so we cruise on our walks in style!

ADOPTION UPDATE: RENO THE SIBERIAN HUSKY - AND HIS VERY SPECIAL RESCUE SUCCESS STORY. There are times you just have to step up and help out, do what you can do to help, and provide kindness and a safe place to call home. That is exactly what Paws 4 Humanity Inc did back on 09/21/10 when Diana Dolce and Carol Kerr at the Nassau County shelter reached out to Paws 4 Humanity Inc regarding 3 Huskies who needed rescue out of the Nassau County shelter, of which Reno was one of them.

All 3 huskies, Reno, Ava and Annie were confiscated from a local breeder, who landed himself in jail over an offense unrelated to the animals. The court system awarded the care of the 3 huskies to the Nassau County shelter until they could find them a home. After reaching out to Paws 4 Humanity Inc we did just that and all 3 huskies were placed in wonderful fur-ever homes.

Reno who is now 17 years and 7 months young, is starting to slow down, and lose his sight and hearing, but he is still the playful, fun loving, husky talking, handsome boy that we rescued back in 2010. And Reno truly exemplifies a phenomenal rescue success story as he not only helped to bring home his BFF Ava when she got spooked and took off with her leash being towed behind her as she was being walked by her family on a rainy night back on Nov 2, 2010. Ten days later Paws 4 Humanity Inc used Reno to lure Ava out of the thick woods to bring her home to her family. Ava crossed over the Rainbow Bridge last year in Oct 2019 at 16 years old.

Reno's family, Tonya and Rod Felder who adopted Reno back on 06/24/13 are no strangers to the rescue world. Tonya and Rod have rescued two other huskies and one adorable Orepei (Sharpei Pug mix) named Molly. They have provided phenomenal homes for all of their rescue dogs, and have given Reno such a remarkable life. Truly what our adoptions are all about, long term fur-ever families and a life long committment to our rescue dogs.

So Reno, we send you hugs, kisses, and some of that husky chatter as we continue to celebrate your life, and your rescue success story! Stay safe, stay happy and stay healthy with your family and just know that you are truly loved and in our eyes a rescue miracle. H***H THE HOUND / LABRADOR RETRIEVER MIX HAS ALREADY HAD A VERY BUSY FIRST 3 DAYS IN MAY WITH HIS NEW FAMILY. "Hi there this is H***h, the oh so very happy almost 2 year old Hound /Labrador Retriever mix who is having the time of my life with my new family Maggie and Kevin. And the first three days in the month of May with my new family has been very busy as I went cruising on a front seat cruise with my Dad for the first time on May 1st, (top picture), and was front and center for my family's participation in Chris's 38th Birthday party on May 2nd, (lower picture).

And then my big day was on May 3rd when I met my new girlfriend Hannah who lives with her family on the other side of the fence. We had a great play date running up and down the fence line and sharing play bows and kisses and then a well deserved rest time after our play date. We had so much fun that I crashed in my big cuddler bed after the play date was over.

So as I continue to find creative ways to bring smiles to my new family's faces, my mom Maggie and my dad Kevin, and to keep wearing a big smile on my face, I will not let this Pandemic get me down!! I am going to stay happy, stay positive, stay healthy, and stay safe with my new family and nothing will ruin our happiness!! PO AKA / RENAMED TO PRINCE IS REALLY DIGGING HIS NEW HOME! "Hi there this is PO, actually now named Prince, the 6 year 8 month old Shepherd / Retriever mix, because my new mom, Sallie, thinks I have a "Prince of a personality", and I am happy to share that things are going great in my new home.

As my mom so perfectly shared with Paws 4 Humanity Inc, I am really digging my new home, literally (pictured outside home below). With the weather getting a bit warmer, I like to dig a big hole in the ground and then lay in it as it is much cooler for me. I finally settled into a little spot in the yard! Lol. My mom says that her previous dogs, may they rest in peace, used to dig in the same corner, too!! You could say that it is the "I dig this doggie spot" in the yard.

So as I now start my new life with my new family, I look to the future with hope, love, health and happiness for years to come. Thank you Paws 4 Humanity Inc for rescuing me and saving my life by getting me through my heartworm treatment and showing me what it is like to live the life of a dog and be happy. As I enjoy my new life with my new family I will never forget you. You are my heroes and my guardian angels and I owe you my life. Thank You!! Thank You!! PO THE SHEPHERD / RETRIEVER MIX IS STILL SMILING AS NO STINKIN' PANDEMIC IS GOING TO GET IN THE WAY OF FINDING HIS FUR-EVER FAMILY." Hi there this is PO the 6 yr 8 month old Shepherd / Retriever mix. Who could believe that 8 months ago I was stuck in the Cartersville, GA shelter, heartworm positive and on their euthanasia list with my time running out. And today, exactly 8 months later thanks to Paws 4 Humanity Inc I am heartworm free, happy and healthy and on top of that just found my fur-ever family.

Yes this afternoon I made the ultimate connection with Sallie, my new mom, who adores me and also met her mom who lives with her named Caryl, and Caryl's cute little Shih TZU / Chihuahua mix named Penny. As you can see by the pictures below Sallie and I have a very special connection. Sallie's beloved Golden Doodle passed away last year of health issues due to old age and she just wasn't ready to get another canine companion until she saw my picture and story on the internet. She knew I was the companion dog for her and immediately submitted an adoption application for me. She was ultimately selected as the best fit family for me and the rest is history.

And while Sallie was so excited to meet me and take me home, I was turning on the charm and so excited to meet her too. As a matter of fact I have been smiling from ear to ear all week. And you know what, it was worth the wait as Sallie and I are like kindred spirits and are meant to be together.

So for Paws 4 Humanity's 483rd adoption since the rescue was started all I can say is, No stinkin' Pandemic is going to get in the way of finding my new family! And as I settle into my new home tonight and snuggle with Sallie, I am thankful that I am safe, happy and healthy with a family that I can look forward to the future in great anticipation for an even greater tomorrow!" JERRY THE TERRIER / CHIHUAHUA MIX LAYS CLAIM TO HIS NEW BEDS AND LAPS AS HE CAPTURES THE HEARTS OF HIS NEW FAMILY. "Hi there this is Jerry the 4 year 9 month old Terrier / Chihuahua mix who found my fur-ever family yesterday. And I say with a smile, it didn't take long for me to claim where I sleep and my new beds (yes plural - and one is my mom's bed - ha ha) and my family's laps to kick back and relax in (pictured R) with my dad, Richard. As you can see (pictured L) is me sleeping in my own personal bed, now totally claimed, approved and quality tested by me.

And my mom sent Paws 4 Humanity Inc the following first day update with my new family: "Jerry is doing great here in our home. We already love the little guy. Jerry slept with Maggie and I all night and did great! Thank you for introducing us to Jerry - He is such an absolute love!!" - Karren and Richard

So yes I am living proof that great things can happen if you stay positive, stay strong, keep the faith and stay focused on the important things in life - even in the middle of a Pandemic! I am so thankful to rescues like Paws 4 Humanity Inc for working tirelessly to help out rescue dogs like me not only by giving us the medical attention, care and love that we need but also ultimately finding us our perfect fit fur-ever family that we can call our own!
