❤️ Roscoe is a loving and loyal 5.5-year-old Border Collie/Terrier mix who is looking for his forever home! He thrives on retrieving games and structured activities. He walks beautifully on a prong collar and responds well to guidance, especially when given ample exercise and clear leadership.

In his current home, Roscoe gets along well with a 9-year-old spayed female Golden Retriever and two cats. He’s very sweet with people and seeks connection. Roscoe is very gentle when taking treats and has a sweet disposition once he feels secure. Roscoe would thrive in a home with someone experienced in handling herding dogs. He has a strong protective instinct and would do wonderful in a home that appreciates his loyalty and can provide him with plenty of exercise. He’d make a wonderful hiking companion!

Our next adoption update is Aster, formerly known as Zeke/Murphy! He was one of our shortest foster residents - he captured the heart of an adopter soon after becoming available! From the City of Stockton Animal Services Center to Oregon, this sweetheart landed the perfect forever home. The last photo is the cutest 🥰. From his mama:

“He is the best dog and now actually likes going in the car. He is crate-trained and walking on his leash well (when the dogs aren’t all tangled up). He is very sweet with my mom and the people at her assisted living facility love him.” ❤️

We’re very behind on our adoption updates, and the first one we’d like to share is sweet Kevin! Kevin was formerly known as Shrek at Stanislaus Animal Services, and he was on their euthanasia list. Look at him now! He’s best friends with their Great Dane, loves their kids and gets so excited for snow. 🥰

Wally adores playtime with other dogs and people, and would do best in a home with another playful dog. 💛 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 💛 Introducing Dazzle, a beautiful, petite 3-year-old German Shepherd who’s ready to light up your life and be your adventure buddy! She is incredibly sweet and bouncy, and always eager to shower her foster parents with kisses. It’s hard to hide a smile when Dazzle is around.

Companionship is important for Dazzle. She loves to be around you and will lean on you to say hello. She enjoys a good cuddle session, but prefers to shower you with kisses. She is a high-energy girl who thrives on daily walks, backyard romps, and would make a wonderful hiking or running partner. An active home is a must.

Dazzle has two active foster sisters and enjoys romping around with them during group walks and playtime. She’s curious about other dogs she meets on walks, but she’s all about spreading the love and is more interested in saying a friendly hello than anything else.

Dazzle is very intelligent and has mastered “sit” and “halt”. She is currently learning “heel” and “here”. Her strong motivation for treats makes her a wonderful candidate for someone who enjoys training.

Dazzle hasn’t had direct interaction with cats, but she seems intrigued when she sees them and keeps her distance. We suspect she could be fine with cats with slow introductions. We also suspect that given her smaller stature for a GSD, and loving, sweet personality, she would be good with dog-savvy kids as well.

🖤 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🖤 Time to gush about Louie - a loving, social 2-year-old Siberian Husky who would make a great adventure buddy because he is off-leash trained!

Louie is a true social butterfly. He absolutely adores people and craves their attention and affection. Whether he’s at the dog park or meeting strangers, he’s always ready to make friends and play. Speaking of play, Louie is a total goofball who loves nothing more than a good chase with dogs of all sizes. Louie’s favorite toys are balls, which he’ll happily toss around for himself.

Louie’s not just all about dogs—he’s proven to be good with cats, too. He is curious but cautious, and keeps his distance without showing any signs of a prey drive towards cats.

When it’s time to wind down, Louie is a pro at entertaining himself. Whether he’s in his crate or free-roaming the house, he’ll happily play with toys or catch some Z’s. He is crated often during the day and sometimes at night just for structure. He prefers the floor over couches when given the freedom to choose. When it comes to training, this boy knows a lot of commands! He’s mastered sit, lay down, stop, come, leave it, up/down, speak, shake and off. He has good recall when his name is called.

Louie is a cuddle bug at heart. He loves nothing more than snuggling up with you, leaning against you or sitting by your feet. He isn’t pushy about it, but if invited, he will lay next to you. He’s the dog who will come and rest his head on you and give you a reassuring look when he senses you need it most. It is very comforting to be around him.

Louie is a talker and makes a lot of eye contact with his person to read the room. He likes to match others’ energy. For a husky, he walks well with a regular collar - he will walk a bit in front of you but does not pull or charge.

Louie is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and is waiting for his neuter appointment (he will be neutered prior to being adopted). He is in a foster home in Incline Village, NV.

💙 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 💙 Meet Chandler, an exceptionally sweet and well-mannered 1-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix! He is an absolute gem around adults, kids and other dogs. He’s playful yet submissive, and displays wonderful manners, even patiently waiting his turn when it’s time to eat. Around other dogs, he likes to follow the leader. He has an incredible personality and is very obedient.

When it comes to cuddles, Chandler loves to put his head on your lap and sit right next to you on the couch. He also has a wonderful independent side and is perfectly content relaxing by himself.

Chandler is a bit shy around new faces but warms up quickly, and when he does he loves affection. He is calm when left alone and is not destructive or anxious. Chandler walks well on a leash. He has a medium-high energy level and is always ready to play, although he is not opposed to relaxing.

Chandler is a youthful soul with a heart full of love to give. He has a quirkiness about him that you can’t help but adore. His sweet, playful demeanor would be perfect for an active family with another dog in the home.

Another senior adoption update! Millie (fka Cotton) arrived to Stanislaus Animal Services as an owner surrender several months ago because they were moving. 🙄 I’ll never understand how anyone could have the heart to let this sweet, 8-year old girl go, but I’m glad they did, because it led her to her adoptive mom who loves her unconditionally. 💕 Millie enjoys chasing balls, butt scratches, and soaking up attention. Now, she gets to embrace her golden years here in Oregon! ❤️🌲

Teddy (fka Buddy) is a Riverside Shelter Survivor now living the life. Just look at this handsome face! 😍 His fosters fell in love with him and made him a permanent part of their family! This happy boy will never have to endure a cold, hard shelter floor ever again. We are beyond grateful his forever family is giving him the loving home he deserves as he lives out his golden years. Bentley is a very quick learner. He is doing great with basic commands and is eager to please. Keep in mind he is still young, so continued training is a must in order for him to be the best version of himself! He is still mastering his leash skills and controlling his excitement around other dogs. He likes to nap during the day and enjoys his walks. Sharing some exciting news! Golden boy Zeke, now Aster was adopted! We knew it wouldn’t take long for him to get swooped up. Couldn’t be happier that this perfect boy found his forever mama and new furry brother & sister. He is such a love and deserves nothing but the best life, and we are 100% certain he hit the jackpot. Happy life, Aster!

At just 1-year old, she is very affectionate, showering everyone she meets with kisses before eagerly seeking belly rubs and ear scratches. Although she hasn't interacted with kids, her gentle disposition hints at her potential to be wonderful around them.

Around other dogs, Eden radiates calmness and warmth. She approaches them gracefully, showing no signs of reactivity. As a young pup, she's still discovering the art of play and often takes cues from other dogs. Playtime is a new adventure for Eden. Initially puzzled by toys, she's now mastering the art of fetch and has taken a liking to plush toys and bones. She loves the flirt pole! Eden thrives on daily walks and playtime with her foster’s resident dog.

Having spent crucial developmental months in a shelter, Eden is diligently honing her canine basics. Treats serve as her motivation, already mastering 'sit' and progressing with 'down,' 'here,' and 'free’. She is generally good on a leash, though her curious nose can lead her off track during walks. She can be easily refocused back into a ‘heel’ with a treat. She is incredibly smart and will grow into a well-rounded dog with continued training!

As a loyal companion, Eden will be your faithful friend - equally content cuddling up or joining you on outdoor adventures. She would thrive in a home with or without dogs, although another dog sibling would amplify her happiness. Very happy to announce that Meadow has been adopted! She has been in her forever home for a couple weeks now and has been settling in very well. She found the sweetest family who loves her so much, and we are over the moon for her new life. She’s getting ALL the belly rubs, her favorite thing ever. From high-kill shelter to her very own warm bed, happy life sweet girl!

🩶 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🩶 Biscuit is a big, happy puppy! At 7 months old, she is still growing into her body (and those ears). She is a total sweetheart and wants to be your best friend. She loves to be wherever you are and has an incredibly endearing personality.

She is excellent with other dogs and would love another playful companion in the home. Tug-of-war is her favorite game, she could play it all day long.

Biscuit is highly food and treat motivated, and would make an excellent trainee for learning new commands. Training is essential in helping this girl grow into the best version of herself. She’s a quick learner and has so much potential! She would love an active home to take her on walks and hikes to fulfill the physical needs of a young pup.

She appears to be quite the supermutt, and our best guess is that she has Husky, Lab, Shepherd and maybe even some Great Dane in her!

We have some good news to share. 🎉 Izzy, who had only been in her foster home for 2.5 weeks, got adopted before she was ever listed on our website! She is a total goober who landed the perfect forever home with her dad and new husky brother! She even leaves the cat alone 😆. Couldn’t be happier for our girl with the most glorious, fluffy tail. We love you, Izzy! 💛

She’s been in her forever home for nearly 6 months now and loves to accompany her parents on brunch and dinner dates with friends. She is one spoiled girl. They adore her and it’s obvious she adores them too! 💙

🤎 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 🤎 Where do we even start with this perfect boy. Zeke is the sweetest, most easy-going 3 year old Husky/Shepherd mix. Physical touch and quality time are his love languages. He LOVES people! Don’t let his size fool you, he is a big, gentle boy who is incredibly willing to please and very affectionate.

Zeke is house-trained and fabulous when walking on a leash. He is highly intelligent, and in just a few days after arriving to his foster home, he has picked up “wait” and “leave it”. He is food and treat motivated, making him an amazing candidate for someone who enjoys training. He is a very respectful house guest and is great when left alone. Unlike many shepherds & huskies, he is quiet! He doesn’t feel the need to chime in when other dogs are barking.

Having another dog companion would be a big bonus for him, he is excellent with other dogs. He is a true social butterfly and gets along with everyone he meets.

❤️ AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ❤️ Meadow is an affectionate, sweet and mellow 4-year old German Shepherd. She is highly intelligent and would be the perfect companion for someone who is looking for a devoted best friend. She loves to be close, loves belly rubs and yearns for affection from her person.

She is great with small dogs but gets a little nervous around bigger dogs. Training and building her confidence will help her overcome her nerves around larger dogs. She is good with cats and overall doesn't seem to mind them.

She is house-broken, walks well on a leash and is great in the car. She has excellent off-leash recall and would make a great hiking buddy!

Meadow was dumped at a shelter after giving her previous family years of love and loyalty. She is so ready to be loved, and in return she will give twice the love back. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.

💙 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 💙 Kasper is a mellow, calm, low-maintenance boy. At 7 years old, he is the perfect age for a husky where he is past the overly energetic phase and enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. It is hard not to stop and stare when you see him. He has a majestic wolf-like appearance to him, and anyone could get lost in his bright blue eyes. 😍 He would love someone who enjoys relaxing at home, but he also enjoys daily walks. He adores people and is great with children of all ages!

Kasper is quiet for a husky, which is rare. He is very content being by himself and has no separation anxiety when left alone. He loves affection and will soak it all in when being pet and loved on.

Kasper came into our rescue with a traumatizing past. We don't know exactly what he had been through, but the scars on his face and muzzle suggest he was not treated well by his former owner. His kennel card also stated that he cannot be returned to his owner. Let's give this boy the life he deserves. He loves to be loved, and we want nothing more than to find a forever home that can make him a part of the family.

NO SMALL DOGS OR SMALL ANIMALS. Being a husky, he has a high prey drive. He can be dog selective with other larger dogs and will need slow introductions. Kasper is up-to-date on all vaccinations, neutered & microchipped.

PUPDATE! Check out Paxton (fka Dodger), who was adopted a few months ago! He was a who had a hard time decompressing in his foster home. He was so programmed to live in survival mode that it took several months before he let his true personality shine. Seeing how far he has come is proof that with patience, compassion and a determined handler, dogs like Paxton can thrive. Paxton loves to hike with his dad and even got kudos for having the best trail manners. ☺️🤎

*COURTESY POST* Bailey is a happy 1-year old Siberian Husky mix with some gorgeous coloring throughout her coat. She is dog-friendly and plays well with her foster brothers and sisters and absolutely adores playing with small dogs. While she can be playful, she also likes her independence and enjoys relaxing by herself.

Bailey loves sleeping in bed with her humans and loves to snuggle in bed. At about 49 lbs, she is on the smaller side for a husky, so she can fit in well with both big dogs and small dogs. She is very intelligent and would love a home that can give her all of the love she deserves.

At this time she has not been around cats.

‼️ BELLA UPDATE ‼️ We have been in contact with a friend of the person who adopted Bella directly from the Apple Valley shelter, and due to absolutely no fault of her own, Bella is needing to be rehomed. 😔

Since she has been out of the shelter, we learned that she is very sweet, kid-friendly and dog-friendly. She has shown some food aggression in her adoptive home when other dogs invade her space, so she needs to be fed separate from other dogs. She is a confident girl and quite the talker. We also learned that Bella had been hit by a car a while ago and had surgery on her jaw, which included the addition of a plate. Her bone did not heal correctly, resulting in a misaligned mandible. During her recent spay surgery, the vet removed the plate and a few teeth and now her jaw appears straighter. Note that this photo was taken before her spay surgery and before she had the plate removed.

Bella is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She is located in Wrightwood, CA. We are only trying to help Bella find the right home, she is not in the care of our rescue. Please share and reach out only if you can commit to her for the rest of her life. She has been though a lot and deserves a forever home.
