We have been seeing an increase in kennel cough cases this summer. Please make sure your dogs are up to date on their Bordetella vaccine. If they start having a consistant dry, hacking/honking sounding cough, please call our office to schedule an appointment to have them examined.

HAPPY FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY DOCTOR MARTZALL! 🥳🎉🎊
Five years ago yesterday Martzall started working here at a Heartfelt. She’s our medical director now and I don’t know what we would do without her. If you’ve brought your pets in to see her I guarantee you can feel how much she cares about them. As clients I’m sure you see her calm and sweet disposition, well it’s like that literally all the time. She is very levelheaded and patient. She’s just a general joy to be around!
Her favorite snack during the day is a waffle say sandwich with sunflower nut butter (I had to write about it because every single day I want one!) and she loves a good cup of hot tea. In her spare time she is a really great crafter! She loves to travel with her friends and partner and she is a wiz when it comes to anything theater related.
Work wise, I swear, she can perform the fastest cat spay on the west coast.
Personally, Martzall has made a very large impact on my life and I’m grateful to call her my friend as well as my boss. If you’ve met Dr. Martzall, what’s a favorite memory you have?!
Mine is everytime we have a a geriatric patient come in with teensy tiny veins she asks me to place a catheter and says “kitty can put a catheter in a potato!”
