Such a handsome and outgoing dude! It was hard to capture his beauty because he was always on the move, but that in and of itself captures his adventurous spirit 💛. He had lots of fun looking at the fish tank, climbing on the counters, sitting in our seat, and even got to sharpen his claws while he was here. 10/10 experience for all parties! 😻

Joking! Truthfully, this was one of our Holiday presents for 2023, and was a special way to show off our wonderful team that makes Buckman so awesome 💛 I am glad I get to work with all of these wonderful faces & people! 💛

Here is an update on our Holiday hours! We will be closed on Christmas & New year’s day (we will also be closed on the Sundays before hand but we are always closed on Sundays 😉)

If your pet needs veterinary care while we are closed please visit our website for a list of urgent care & emergency clinics in the portland area.

If you need to reach us, and it is not urgent, feel free to email us or leave a voicemail and we will get back to you at our soonest availability!

Hooray! It was neck to neck for both categories, which is not surprising at all considering how many AWESOME costumes there were this year (We really do have the cutest patients 😉) !

Thank you to everyone who entered & supported the costume contest. We get to know and love these amazing patients & it’s something special to get to see photos of them outside of the Vet, and to get to share them with you all! There were more pets who dressed up this year than we could ever imagine, and i’m glad that this tradition could go on for another year! (Although, if we bring it back next year we may do things a little differently)

Thank you all for being patient, and tolerating the overwhelming amount of photos we have posted over the last few days. However, they were all adorable photos of pets so I am not sure if anyone minded too much 😉💛

Also, special shout-out to the incredibly talented staff member who put together these brilliant spooky basket prizes! 😻

Happy Halloween, and don’t forget to do our other fun Halloween activities next time you come in. We have a pumpkin decorating contest that we need votes for, and a “guess how many candy corns” contest going on!
