Two of our buildings are permanent features on-site at the Millbrook Horse Trials. A thirty-two foot long lean-to building with an eight foot overhang serves as the Stable Office and a smaller board and batten building is used as the Scorers Building. Our team at Bayhorse also completely renovated a major feature of the course into what is now the Bayhorse Advanced Fence Complex. Listen for the announcements that are made from our Country Style Octagon Gazebo and take a break on one of the rainbow of handcrafted poly Adirondack chairs out on the course! We also have a pine board & batten run-in shed right across from the Millbrook Market.

The Millbrook Horse Trials, taking place in the beautiful rolling hills of the Hudson Valley, is part of a deep rooted equestrian tradition in the Millbrook area. MHT showcases four days of dressage, cross-country and show jumping and hosts a lively country fair with vendors, food trucks, a petting zoo and other family activities. Mark your calendars, tell your friends and plan to attend to enjoy four days of exciting competition and family fun in the heart of the Millbrook countryside.

The Sparrow's Nest Superhero 5K is live this year at the beautiful Barton Orchards in Poughquag. This is a fun walk/jog/run and will cover terrain that at times can be on gravel, pavement, and grass. We aren't looking for your best time, we are looking for you to have a good time. Walk or Run your 3.1 miles... However you choose to participate, a portion of your registration fee supports our mission of cooking and delivering homemade meals to families facing cancer. “When we were first toying with the idea of starting a family alpaca farm, my husband went to visit Bayhorse. He was pretty sure that he had found what we were looking for, so our whole family went to see the barn and that was it. We fell in love with the barn and loved working with Gerry. He was thrilled to work with first time barn buyers and first time farmers. Working with Gerry was like being with family and we had a great time. Bayhorse did a fantastic job building our combination garage and studio. We had this project in mind for a few years and went through working with an architect on an addition and the wild price changes for materials during the height of the pandemic. We met with Gerry at Bayhorse and decided to make a fresh start. Gerry was great to work with, very patient and very responsive. Bayhorse worked with us through design changes, large and small, and matched our new building to our existing house just as we had hoped for. We are very happy with the finished product and absolutely recommend Bayhorse!

Bayhorse built this lovely garage with twin dormers to match an existing home. Bayhorse handled every aspect of this project from the initial design and layout to architects drawings and permits. The garage was built to match the existing house including the clapboard siding, paint, trim, roof shingles and dormers. Bayhorse also built a custom breezeway and fully integrated the breezeway and the garage with the existing house and landscaping. The finished project has the completely seamless appearance that the homeowner wanted to achieve.

“Bayhorse built the art studio we wanted and they took care of everything! We went to Bayhorse to walk through the buildings on the lot and decided that a lean-to model would be the best fit for us. “The build team from Bayhorse was wonderful. Watching them work was like magic! We had a very exacting set of requirements and Bayhorse met every one. To match our existing home, our new garage would need a metal roof, clapboard siding was a must and Bayhorse matched our paint, trim and roof colors. Their workers put up siding faster than I had thought possible and they almost never stopped to take a break. Watching two or three men installing clapboard siding and trim without even saying a word was truly remarkable. They knew what to do and just flew through the work. They worked so fast that the entire custom garage project was completed in just two days!”

Sparrow's Nest was founded in 2012 with the simple idea of cooking for the families of local moms diagnosed with cancer. Today they feed an average of 400 people each week and more than 3,000 individuals since its inception.
