It is Chip Your Pet Month!
We do recommend getting your pet microchipped INCASE of an unexpected emergency.
Microchipping your pet gives them the best chance of them getting returned to you if they are lost/stolen/ran away.
Owners with pets who DO HAVE microchips! Remember to update your information with the Microchip Company if you have changed your information!

“In our 4-pet home (2 dogs and 2 cats), Spot is in charge and alpha of the group. He loves to snuggle (on his terms), but is equally, if not more happy exploring outdoors. He is the softest kitty with the cutest random “spots” that make him so special. We love Spot!”

April is National Heartworm Awareness Month!
We are dedicated to keeping your pets healthy and happy!
Heartworm is a serious disease that can affect your pets' hearts! They are parasitic worms that are carried and transmitted by infected mosquitoes.
We recommend doing a yearly Heartworm Test and keeping your pets on Heartworm Preventative All Year-Round!

Congratulations to Einstein for being April’s Pet of the Month!
“Einstein is quite a ham. He is very loving and caring. He knows exactly what each of our family members needs and when we need it. Especially when we are having a bad day. He keeps our cat on his toes as they play and Einstein is even bilingual!
We adore him. He is each of our best friend. Thank you for the opportunity to share him with all of you.”

Congratulations to Hank for being our March 2024 Pet of the Month!
"Hank loves being with his people – especially his grandma who he can’t get enough of. He is so loved.
Being outside watching the world go by is his all-time favorite thing. Every moment inside is torment. When he can't be outside, he is always at the picture window looking out, keeping tabs on the comings and goings of dogs and people. He has become a bit of a neighborhood celebrity; neighbors always check to see if he is at the window and call out to him.
Training is playing to Hank; he catches on quickly to games and commands. He loves learning, and when he figures out what you are asking, he gets sooo excited - lots of zoomies! He can't wait for the next task you ask of him.
Would this be considered negative? To us, it is one of the things that make him so endearing:
To say he does not like change is an understatement; ritual is the right way. Everything has to be done the same for Hank everyday, He has been known to refuse dinner if its offered too soon in the evening. He considers bedtime to be 9:15. And everyone better listen!"

February is Dental Health Month!
Dental health is a very important part of your pet’s overall health, and dental problems can cause, or be caused by, other health problems.
Things you can do at home!
-- Regularly Brushing! to keep their teeth healthy
-- Schedule a dental cleaning for your pet! We schedule our dental cleaning months in advance so please call soon to schedule!
-- Call/text/email to discuss what dental chews would works best for your pets!
Currently, we are scheduling dental cleanings into April 2024. Be sure to call to schedule!

Congratulations to Suki for being February’s Pet of the Month! ♥️
Suki is a 10 month old and lives in St. Paul with his Mom and Dad and two older dogs, Mini (Yorkie) and Cooper (Boston), who are both 13.The older dogs don’t enjoy playing as much so Suki is very happy to have his brother Beez from the same litter living in the apartment upstairs. Suki loves cuddling, treats, and playing with his brother Beezy. He is the goodest boy a family could ask for.

"I am a very sweet, calm, and cuddly fellla. I enjoy long sleeps on the couch and PB treats in my bowl. (Psst… they are soo good!) My ideal day would be waking up slowly on my family’s bed, being served breakfast in the living room, going for a mid day walk to do my business, followed by chasing squirrels, chewing sticks, and a nightcap on the couch."
