Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Foundation

Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Foundation The VECCF was established for the purpose of providing assistance and funding for projects that raise the level of care for animals in need.

As veterinary professionals we make a difference in the lives of animals and the families who love them every day. But from time to time we struggle with what we can't do. There are always patients that cannot be saved and clients who can't afford care. The Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Foundation (VECCF), established in 2003, is the perfect opportunity to make a difference. Making a dona

tion to the VECCF is a wonderful way to give to those in need, raise the level of patient care for critically ill and injured companion animals, and support our colleagues in emergency and critical care medicine by funding clinical research grants, education and training programs. Annually, prior to the IVECCS meeting, the VECCF provides a service project to a local charity. Past projects have included rebuilding a shelter damaged during hurricane Katrina, creating a much needed exercise area for a struggling shelter and performing a free spay neuter clinic for a low-income community.
