Dear valued customer,

We regret to announce that Bussaba will be permanently closing our doors: our last day of operation will be Saturday, August 22nd. Like every other restaurant in the city, we have not been immune to the impact of COVID-19. We have fought hard to remain open and viable throughout the last several months, but despite all our efforts and creativity, we now know it can not be sustained indefinitely. It has been a good 10 years, but now it is time to move on.

Sometime in the near future we will be kicking off a new home-delivery food service project which we hope will be a better fit for our sheltered-in-place way of life whilst COVID-19 persists (and perhaps beyond!). It will be called Bussabasf.Baan (Baan means “home” in Thai and feels like an appropriate homage to our original name). More details will come soon, so please check back here in the future. Or if you would like to be on our emailing list to stay updated on our latest plans, please consider filling out this form (we promise to keep your information private and secure). Your safety (as well as that of our employees and community) is our greatest concern during this unprecedented COVID-19 situation. While we will always maintain our passion for serving healthy and delicious recipes that showcase the very best of Thai cuisine, we understand that current conditions make it very challenging for many people to consider dining out.
So we are shifting our focus to provide food service to you through pick-up and delivery (via GrubHub, Uber Eats, and Doordash) until we know that it is safe for everyone to enjoy on-site dining. We know how disruptive the current conditions are, so we are doing our best to adapt: so we are now planning on be open for lunch again, with our hours going from 12pm to 8pm Monday through Saturday.
Please also consider purchasing gift cards which you can use any time now or in the future (every little bit will help our small family-owned business stay afloat during these challenging times!). We hope this allows you to continue enjoying our cuisine from the comfort of your own home.
