Hey everyone!

I’ve had multiple October reservations cancelled because of the hurricane 🌀 — many people thinking that I am not operational.

While, the hurricane did destroy quite a bit of fencing, my main backyard is fully secured, and the house sustained no damage.

I am still open, and your pups will be safe, cared for and absolutely have the best treatment. I know all of us in this area are suffering, coming together and supporting each other and all local small businesses is the only way we will survive. 💙

Hi everyone! It’s Tiffany. I wanted to quickly pop on here and give an update of inner knowing.

1st: all animals are safe, 100% cared for, loved and have all their needs met. I have a handful of client dogs with me and all owners have been personally updated.

2nd. What a scary and overwhelming time this has been. Friday the flooding came fast and was close to the house. Animals were crated and ready for evacuation if needed.

3rd. My fencing yards and training building is destroyed. Any donations to contribute to getting things restored would be forever appreciated. I moved here last August and the cost of the fencing and building restoration, property destroyed is upwards of $80,000. 😢💔

4th. Dog community people are amazing. Sunday my dog trainer friends braved the very scary roads to get gallons of fresh water for us and food and anything we could need.

5th. The pups are with me at an airbnb rental with power, water and a fenced yard for playtime — training has been continued and the animals have shown just how positive and resilient they truly are.

I know the entire Aheville community is in shock and survival mode. But the animals will help us navigate through with constant, unconditional love. 💜

🚨UPDATE 🚨

Heather again…..

Our team has reached Tiffany!!! They are there with supplies and manpower to help anyway they can. We are working on coordinating moving the dogs and Tiffany to a safe location with power and water while she waits for it to be restored there. It will probably take a few days and a lot of coordination but we are working as hard as we can to get everything together.

We want to thank everyone who has donated or shared the GoFundMe page- every little bit counts immensely for the coming days and weeks as we rebuild.

Hello! Heather here again! I have spoken with Tiffany, as limited service has returned to the area. She wanted to reiterate that she and all the dogs are doing well!

There is a group on their way to her this morning bringing supplies and manpower to help. Tiffany will be reaching out to all clients whose dogs she has in her care as she is able.

Please remember that though there is limited service, flooding her phone with notifications will drain the battery and prevent messages from getting out quickly. Please keep her line open to communicate with our team getting to her and emergency services.

I will post as many updates as I get them.

We have started a GoFundMe page to help with rebuilding and to cover the cost of supplies/care while operations are closed. If you can’t donate, please share so we can get her as much help as possible.

Hey friends! If you wouldn’t mind taking a moment to read, that would be amazing! My friend, and fellow dog trainer, Tiffany Jourdain is located right outside of Asheville in Swannanoa, NC. This area was completely devastated from flooding as a result of Hurricane Helene.

We have had minimal communications from her but do know that she and the dogs are safe! While that is amazing, her training building, fencing, supplies, etc were wiped away. It is going to take a very long time to recover from this.

We have started a GoFundMe to help her with getting supplies to care for the animals that are with her now and to rebuild what she has lost. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.

We are trying to get people to her as soon as we can to take supplies (water, food, etc) and help her once they are there.

🚨Update 🚨

Hello all- I am one of Tiffany’s friends in North Carolina, but not in Western NC. I wanted to give everyone an update on what we know.

Tiffany was able to get 1 message out via another person’s phone. She and the animals are safe! There is a group of people attempting to get up to her today and tomorrow. They are bringing supplies and be there to help anyway they can.

Once I have more information or get any further updates I will post them here. Cell service was completely down and is only minimal today.

✅ Puppy Training Tip:

Want high value treats during your training sessions but have a puppy with a sensitive stomach?

- Measure your pups daily food intake, boil or bake plain chicken breasts (if your dog is intolerant to chicken, use lean beef or turkey) - put in a ziplock bag overnight in the refrigerator, and you’ll have extra smelly, slightly soft kibble with occasional pieces of chicken.

- A puppy working for daily meals will create a puppy that’s eager to learn and receiving balanced nutrition.

🚨 Everyone — if your dog is with me, please know they are safe and inside / being leash walked for potty time and contained in crates until the storm passes for safety.

There is no power here and I’m in my car for WiFi to do an alert because my texts are not sending. Please do not panic if you can’t reach me. It’s a WiFi issues. Your pups are fine. 💜

There is significant flooding all around me but the house and animals are safe and dry. ☔️
