Do you have a reactive dog? Does your dog whine, bark, get frustrated, or is your dog showing aggression? We have a wonderful presentation for you!
Behavior Adjustment Training 3.0 (BAT) is a systematic way to help dogs connect to
dogs and humans with confidence and ease. It's informed by a current understanding of
trauma, attachment styles, neurobiology, affective neuroscience, marker training, and a
whole lot more.
In this presentation, you'll get an overview of how to use BAT for your own dog or with
shelter dogs, no experience necessary. This is an introduction to a whole new way of
thinking, so be prepared to want to learn more afterward.
★ Suitable for family dogs, professional trainers, shelter workers, and anyone
looking to expand their knowledge and skills to support dogs.
★ Learn how to safely introduce your dog or puppy to new dogs, people, and
situations.
★ BAT helps with reactivity of many kinds, including aggression, barking or whining
in frustration, panicked escapes, or shutting down frozen. BAT is also useful to
start out right with puppies!
★ Make your walks easier! Get an overview of the BAT Leash Skills including the
Leash Belay method.
★ Learn how to respond if your dog barks or growls, and how your current way of
reacting may be making things worse.
★ Learn how to care for your dog in a way that builds trust and promotes Secure
Attachment.
★ Learn how to feel safe by improving your two-way communication skills
***This class is to expand knowledge for humans only. No dog will be permitted into the classroom unless the dog is a service animal.
