🐹We try to keep the truck fully stocked for emergencies but some things just require improvisation!

🐹Rose injured her leg and had a wound we needed to keep clean and dry. In addition to her specially fitted cone she started antibiotics and pain medication to help keep her comfortable!

🐹We are so grateful to get to care for all sorts of furry family members!

Yesterday we got to deliver the remains of a beloved companion home to their family. We are so grateful to be able to help these sweet furry family members cross over in their homes with their people at their side.

While it is for sure the saddest part of our day, it brings comfort to know we helped ease the transition.

I’m guilty of chit chatting while we get vaccines ready or wait for labwork, but our canine patients have found a comfy spot to wait it out! We don’t mind lint rolling the seat a few more times as long as they are happy and content!

She loves being a mom, crafting, and broadway! 🖤Holly has been in veterinary medicine for 10 years and brings amazing technical skills and compassionate care to our team. Her and Dr. Liz share a love for our feline friends as well. 🖤Holly is an invaluable part of our team and Sunshine wouldn’t be Sunshine without her!

Things on the Sunshine Mobile vet truck ✨just make sense✨

Sooo many times over the last few weeks I’ve heard “it’s so stressful for me to take all my pets to the vet!” Or “my dog/cat is so fearful and stressed at the vet” Which we COMPLETELY understand! Our goal is to provide a convenient, low stress environment where you see exactly what’s going on with your pet and can be with them from start to finish! Let us know how we can help! 🤩☀️

Duke was the best boy for his neuter! We started with his pre-anesthetic exam, which he passed with flying colors! After getting some blood for pre-anesthestic bloodwork Duke had oral premedications (in a little bit of spray cheese!) followed by injectable premeds, both to provide sedation and pain control. After reviewing his bloodwork (all 💯) an IV catheter was placed for giving induction medications and IV fluids. His surgery was quick and routine and he did amazing! He’ll wear an e-collar (cone) for the next week to keep him from licking, along with medications for inflammation and discomfort! The best part?! We did all of this in the truck!
