Benton is 5 years old and was owner surrendered to a local rescue organization when his 80 year old owner could no longer handle him, they then rescue transferred him to us. Benton weighs 91 lbs. Benton currently lives with two other dogs, and an older child in his foster home. We do not know how he is with cats. He's housetrained, crate trained and sleeps all night. He hops right into the car and is good on leash. Benton loves to play fetch, he loves all people, but would be better with kids over 5 years old because he might knock the little ones down due to his size. Benton's original owner had him professionally trained and therefore he knows basic obedience and has also been trained with an e-collar. The trainer is local and has been helping Benton's foster parents to continue his training. Benton is active and loves to play during the day, but settles down at night and sleeps in his crate. He's a fabulous boy and is looking for an active family that he can have fun with every day!

Got to hang out with rescue dog Blaze this weekend! I picked this spotted kid up in Texas and he stayed for a couple of months, patiently waiting for his new home. Dalmatians are known for their energy and impressive stamina. He has the absolute best home with an active owner who meets his needs. 🥹👏 Well worth the wait.

There is nothing natural about large numbers of unfamiliar dogs partaking in high-intensity activity in a dog park, and this shouldn’t be the benchmark for a social dog. If your dog is not their best in such an environment, you are not doing anything wrong. 👏👏 There is nothing wrong with your dog. 👏👏 Your dog is normal. 👏👏
