Barn team position open, looking for someone with at least three years horse experience.
Staff works with a team to provide care for boarder owned and lesson horses.
Required qualifications, must be able to:

- Muck up to 20+ stalls per day
- Feed up to 20+ horses daily
- Turn out and bring horses daily
- Recognize colic, choke, founder, and lameness
- Treat basic wounds and common horse maladies
- Have flexible availability up to full time hours, show up on time, and perform all job duties effectively and efficiently.
- Easily catch and tack horses, both English and western
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Have professional customer service skills

Pluses:
- Ability to administer IM and IV injections
- Basic fencing and barn property maintenance knowledge
- Competent riding skills

For the right person, there are riding, assistant training and showing opportunities.

White Stables has an opening for a Riding Instructor with the skills and passion to teach beginner through advanced lessons and help lead our educational programs. We have an eclectic mix of customers and are seeking someone with well-rounded experience to handle the variety of interests. We offer beginner western lessons, and beginner through advanced English lessons; we also offer trail rides, training and boarding. Though our clientele is varied, we have a strong student base and personal interest in eventing and would prefer an instructor with advanced expertise in areas such as: jumping, cross country, dressage and equitation.

We are seeking a confident rider who is organized and able to communicate well with students and enjoys working with people at a busy barn. Our expanding lesson and trail riding program is looking for someone patient enough for beginners and experienced enough for more competitive, higher-level riders. Show experience is also a plus; we have a large outdoor and covered arena and are looking to host more shows moving forward. Enthusiasm and creativity are essential to further develop special interest workshops, youth camps and other programming. Horse training portion of job will involve keeping lesson horses tuned up. Our business is growing and we are looking for someone who can grow with us!

This equestrian center is on 40+ acres with additional exclusive access to 125 acres of equestrian trials, we are located at the entry to an expansive, gated, luxury community. Located with fast, easy access to major highway (75) and less than an hour's drive from international airport and downtown Knoxville, yet still completely surrounded by country vistas. We are looking for an individual with vision and drive at this gorgeous facility who will be part of the team that takes it to the next level. White Stables is kindly offering our sweet Preacher for sale. He is a 20 year old spotted saddle horse gelding. Preacher is priced in the low fours and located near Knoxville, TN. Please text Ava at 865-230-1777 for more info and videos.

Before we acquired him, Preacher was one of our boarder’s trail partners. Since then, he has been used & loved in our lesson/trail program for the last year or two.

Preacher is great with kids and adults but prefers more advanced beginners +.
He has a lovely trot and canter, and will gait if you work with him on it. He’s a push ride but will move off your leg nicely if you ask him to. He’s definitely not a talented jumper, but he tries his best and always makes it to the other side (even with the kids having crooked chaotic approaches— seriously a good boy)

Our lesson program is dressage/eventing centered; Preacher would much prefer to be a trail horse or be a lazy boy on the rail of the arena. He thinks dressage is confusing, but would take to it quite lovely with a consistent rider to show him what it means.

Preacher has had issues with laminitis/founder in the past. He must be kept on a dry lot with little grass and plenty of hay— he’s easy to keep weight on. He also doesn’t mind to be in a stall part time and has worn a grazing muzzle before. He has good feet with front shoes only and is great for the farrier, grooming, ect. He also needs a little
maintenance for arthritis.
