We have a lovely Saddlebred gelding that needs to be a companion animal...please pass the word. He's big & handsome with lots of chrome and is a very kind animal. He's not programmed to be a show horse, but he might be a fun horse for someone who builds a relationship with him. If nothing else he'll be a stunning ornament in your pasture and at Christmas! He rides and drives and eats lot of treats. PM or call/text for more info and interest. $3500 takes him home and there's a good chance we'll help ship him part-way or all the way where he needs to go for that money.

There’s only so many times in a career when a truly special horse or pony comes through your barn. One of ours is Heartland Dixie Drummer. After his conversion to a saddle pony last year he has captured the win every time he’s entered the ring. We are looking forward to crowning this season with a trip to UPHA American Royal National Championship Horse Show with Skyler Skrzypchak in the irons!

Dear horse business...as we have talked about both online and in 1:1 conversations we are a resilient bunch. Not only do we prove that with our lifestyle and professional choices every day, but through challenges like COVID. Now comes another...this one close to home for us here at FG. As you likely heard about on national news our home state of Iowa was hit hard with tornados this weekend. Those tornados destroyed two barns in our closely knit horse business up here...both Greenwood (Rob & Stephanie Kritzler) as well as Menagerie (Erica Jones) barns took direct hits. Both stables have had to relocate to temporary facilities and are sorting through what's left of equipment and their business. Friends and supporters have setup gofundme pages to keep these barns afloat while they regroup. The ask isn't a lot...just help them feed their horses and cover temporary rent arrangements while they get back on their feet. Meaningful support has already been shown...if you have a few bucks to help them get through we know these barns would be grateful.
