Eliminating corn, wheat and soy helps to reduce allergens. We carry a selection of raw foods for dogs and cats too! Frozen and freeze-dried raw foods are great for weight management in addition to preventing allergies. Raw is a species-appropriate diet, feeding quality food can help eliminate frequent trips to the vet. As an added bonus, when using a high quality food less food needs to be consumed, therefor, your pets will poo less!

With the hot temperatures, I'm keeping a lookout for blue-green algae blooms in our ponds. Our dogs swim and walk tummy-deep in the ponds, occasionally drinking the water. I've learned what steps to take to keep our ponds safe for our dogs and local wildlife.

Symptoms of Blue-Green Algae Sickness in Dogs

** Vomiting
** Diarrhea
** Blood in stool or black, tarry stool
** Pale mucous membranes
** Jaundice
** Seizures
** Disorientation
** Coma
