Bit scary to read
Great reminder that automatic trays are not for kittens. All have warnings on them. I’ve feared someone getting into the waste while the machine is cycling. Well it can happen. I don’t believe this is the machines fault as such.

While your cat is learning please leave the machine off while you are not home… ALL BRANDS AND TYPES!!

Started show training this morning with a very early wake up, a car ride and lots of waiting in a crate.

We have watched the sun rise while waiting for the vet this morning.
Microchip and vaccination day.

Fun fact!!
At 8 weeks old, kittens get their first vaccination and microchip. It also means they get a certificate to say they are microchipped.
At 8 weeks ALL certificates state the kitten is entire…. Why ???
Because they don’t get desexed until 12 weeks when they also have a second vaccination.

A certificate issued 4 weeks before surgery can not state the kitten has been desexed!
All kittens are desexed before they leave me.

Heinz is the milk goblin of the house and only one not to eat solids.

Funny story about how these 2 became family.
Basil ( left ) I adored as a tiny kitten. I was jealous when he was sold to a pet home. Back then I made tiny collars. His new owner reached out before his arrival to order a collar.
She drove 40 mins to collect her $10 collar order. But found out I was a Devon breeder at the same time. Excited for her arrival I introduced her to my cats. The day she visited CC was almost due for her babies.
Very fast our our friendship grew from that point. When the kittens arrived Vicky was an instant yes to becoming a Vitalogy Mumma.
With no intention of getting a second Devon so fast I don’t think she has regretted her choice.
Basil and Pepa you have given me many years of joy watching you grow and create mischief together.
Vicky, thank you for the many years of friendship and laughs. Thanks for sharing the joy of Baz with me even tho I missed out on the handsome thug. It’s been awesome to still be apart of his life. Thank you for the love you give Miss Pep’s. I couldn’t ask for a better home for my baby.
