This sweet little lady came in for her second puppy vaccination and was so brave! 🐾

Meet the sweetest and bravest little man Romeo 🐾
Romeo came in for a dental scale and polis procedure.
After doing his dental x-rays we found that he had significant periodontal disease and needed 17 teeth to be extracted!
Luckily dogs have 42 teeth, so Romeo will still be able to enjoy his favourite foods with his remaining teeth. 🦷💚

Mr Bojengles came in for a 10 day post operative check after he had one of his baby canine tooth removed, as it was hitting his soft pallet making him uncomfortable 🦷
We are happy to say he is back to his normal happy self 💚🐾

Crystal came in to get her a**l glands expressed 🐶🙈

A**l glands are two small glands just inside your pet’s a**s. If your pets take to scooting their bottom along the ground, it’s usually due to their a**l glands being full or ‘impacted’.

Walking and normal defecation usually serve to empty the glands, but some animals become unable to empty their glands on their own.

If an impacted a**l sac goes untreated, an abscess can form and rupture out through the skin. This is a painful, messy, and smelly condition often mistaken for re**al bleeding. If an a**l sac abscess forms, it must be properly treated by your veterinarian with antibiotics.

Maya was only 6 months old when she fell off a couch and fractured her radius and ulnar on her front leg. After some x-rays and measurements taken, our orthopaedic surgeon was scheduled to repair Maya’s leg. She was so brave and made a full recovery 🐶💚

ℹ️ Desexing (also known as sterilisation, speying, castrating or neutering) your pet is highly recommended. Not only are there numerous Heath benefits for your pet, but the number of unplanned puppies and kittens ending up in shelters is also drastically reduced. For roaming pets like outdoor cats (whose neighbourhood activity is hard to track), desexing your pet is especially important.
