!! PARALYSIS TICKS !!
Being in the Blue Mountains, we are blessed with a very large population of wildlife. Most native wildlife have a natural immunity to paralysis ticks. This means our pets are at an extremely high risk of getting them. Even if your pet does not go into the bush and is solely indoors, these parasites can travel into your yard on wildlife and inside via your clothing.
It is vital that your pet is kept up to date all year round with a product that protects against Paralysis Ticks.
Unsure which product might be right for you? Call the clinic on (02)4754 4333 to discuss with one of our friendly nurses.
A single female tick can lay anywhere from 2000 to 8000 eggs in one go, and pictured below is the multitude of ticks we pulled off ONE of our native wildlife yesterday.
