As we prepare to celebrate with our own families, please note that our clinic will be closed from 25th of December to the 1st of January.

We'll be back to our regular hours on the 2nd of January.

Paws-itvely Sparkling Clean! ✨ 🦷

This is Percy the Norwich Terrier. He has just had his teeth X-rayed, cleaned and polished here at Riverstone Vets! Look how amazing they’ve scrubbed up! 🐶

Is your dog on heartworm prevention?
There have been positive cases of heartworm detected in Quakers Hill, Penrith, Blacktown and Prospect.
It is a timely reminder to check your dog is on a preventative product or they will be at risk of this deadly infection. Heartworm is spread by mosquitoes so all dogs are exposed.

Meet the Tawny Frogmouth, Australia's most adorable Native Nocturnal Bird! 🦅

This cute and quirky bird is often mistaken for an Owl🦉, but it's actually a unique species with some amazing features. Did you know that Tawny Frogmouths can:

- Turn their heads up to 180 degrees? 🤯
- Fly silently, making them expert hunters? 🦉
- Puff out their feathers to look like a branch?🪶

This fluffy feathered guy came in injured and after some X-rays we found he had a broken leg which we splinted and sent him to be cared for by the carers at WIRES. 🩼

If you see any injured wildlife in need we are more than happy to treat them here at the clinic. 🏥

Meet Dumpling, the fluffiest little snowball to ever steal hearts! He was our brave little patient today. 💕

This adorable guy is so white, he's practically glowing! And with a name like Dumpling, you can bet he's leaving a trail of cuteness wherever he goes!🐶

But beware, this dumpling of a dog is a master of
"stealing the wraps" - he'll wrap you around his paw with his cuteness in no time! 🙈🙉

We're paws-itive you'll fall in love with this furry little bundle of joy! 🤩
