Just a gentle reminder,

Chocolate is toxic to dogs🍫🐕

Today 'Rupert' the dachshund learned that the hard way after consuming a chocolate egg, here at Kingsford vets we induced vomiting to make sure the chocolate was out of his system and he felt very sorry for himself 😿💙

Depending on the type of chocolate and the amount eaten by your dog it could become a serious emergency 🆘️

Theobromine, an ingredient in chocolate is toxic to dogs and other pets in certain doses.

Our star patient of the week is miss Axl Axl is a 17 and a half year old pug! She spent lots of time trotting around our treatment room and ate lots of her favourite food (chicken). How adorable is the way she eats her chicken <3

**COMPETITION TIME** Our very lovely puppy trainer, Leanne from @politepoochessydney is currently running a competition. Anyway who signs up for puppy classes in the next few weeks will go into a raffle. The lucky winner will receive a complete refund of the cost of their puppy classes. 🙌🐕🐶 Winner will be announced in September 🎉 Here is little Lenny showing off some of his skills. During puppy school, you will not only learn tips and tricks in training your new best friend but you will also learn many different enrichment and stimulation methods for your pet. 😁🐶 If you are a new puppy owner or would like some more information, please do not hesitate to contact Leanne or the team at Kingsford vets for more information.

*********UPDATE - our friendly little bunny has gone on a trial this morning. We wish him all the best. Unfortunately we have been unable to find the owner of this little guy. Despite contacting all vets out in Chatswood and them posting it also, we just have had no luck. As he is a beautiful friendly boy, we are now looking for a new home for him where he can be endlessly loved and cared for. But we need to name him! What are your thoughts on a suitable name for this cutie? Here is a video of him enjoying his favourite treats. Please call us or drop in for more information :)
