Every day is a new surprise! How on earth are her ears absolutely FULL of mats - she just had a full once over like 2 weeks ago. Admittedly she gets away with regular maintenance but really? Most of her ears are now gone. I don’t think she particularly cares though. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Our newsletter went out this weekend - are you signed up?

I want to take this moment to say - believe me, I know it is not cheap to feed your pets quality, Canadian sourced, trusted treats. Having been 'out of the loop' for many years, I assure you, it was sticker shock for me as well to see how prices increased over 7 years and through a pandemic.

Unfortunately we are in the age of keyboard warriors - can I just say, I don't need snarky responses to the newsletter so save your energy and just don't do it. I generally just ignore the rude messages but I'm getting to the age where if you catch me on the right day, I WILL message you back and I won't be nice. If you find products that works for you elsewhere and are cheaper, go for it!

When I offer free shipping on the bulk products, I assure you, it means I'm not making money on those sales - in fact, I lose money on chicken breast. I did not take the company back to make money (thank goodness because I'd be failing miserably). I took it back because I believe that the brand and products are amazing and I could not let the company go down with a poor reputation.

Porch pirates are (unfortunately) a thing!! We have added signature requirements to deliveries because people steal packages!
If you don't want to have to sign for your package, please let us know in the comments when you place your order (if you decline the signature, we can't cover you for porch pirates).

I was in the facility last weekend sorting through all of the packaging - what a task!
When everything was finally organized there were no rabbit ears bags to be found! 🥲
So if you order ears they will not come in our usual branded bags. But they will still be our usual furry chips for dogs! I just had to bring some home for the girl (and to share with the neighbours - these are my favorite treat to share and weird people out) 🤣 of course their dogs loved them, so the humans got over the ‘gross’ factor!
Rabbit ears treats save these ears from being waste in the production chain, and they are a good source of fibre to keep things moving in your furry friend!

Kitty is getting more comfortable in the house now and my legs are the favorite climbing post :( She will be roughing it with the dogs in no time and is definitely loving her raw food along with the kitty milk.

CONTEST TIME! We acquired this dumpster kitty today, found in the garbage by a local business. So this little rascal is the new resident here. We guess him (her?) to be maybe 6 weeks at the most. Can you guess how much he/she weighs (sorry - I haven't taken 'the close look' to see what gender we're dealing with as kitty is a little overwhelmed). To participate, like the post, share the post, and guess little kitty's weight - first one to guess correctly IN GRAMS will win a giant bag of beef lung - and yes, our US friends can participate too!
