If you’re not getting your pet’s prevention from your veterinary hospital, be SURE you know exactly where it is coming from!

Good post to share, especially since we've seen online pet products fail and heartworm and tick diseases are serious, potentially fatal diseases.

Make sure to know the source of your pet's products! Plus, you'll have an amazing healthcare team supporting your pet's medications and treatment plans 🐾🐾

It is Veterinary Receptionist Week! When you call or come in the clinic, be sure to give them a big smile or tell them how much you appreciate them! They work so unbelievably hard and love being the first people you get to chat with when you come here. We are so incredibly lucky to have them as part of the CAH team. 💗

‼️The highly anticipated solar eclipse is upon us today‼️
🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔

📌See below for some pet safety tips!

•Keep your pets indoors!
Although most animals generally don’t look up at the sun, it’s a good idea to keep them inside in case the change in light could confuse or frighten them… even though we all might think putting a pair of “eclipse glasses” might look fun on them for a photo, it’s best to just not! 👓
•Avoid large crowds with your pet!
If you want to go to a popular lookout point to view the eclipse, don’t bring your pet. Large crowds can make pets anxious and stressed and potential cause conflict with other animals who might be there as well. 😫😣😓
•Potential behaviour changes!
With the change in light and surroundings, this could cause your pet to act abnormally, especially if wild animals start to react in a strange manor too 🦆🐦‍⬛🦝🐇🐿️
