Fern's second litter of nine, is growing quickly! I love the variety of color she throws each time. She is flourishing as a mother for this litter, much better than her first. Sometimes first time mommas need a helping hand until they figure out the ropes of motherhood 🫶🏼.

This litter has;
Agouti, Black Otters, Broken Reds and Brown Blacks.

Look at those cheeks!

The first round hatches of our new Ameraucana/Easter Egger lines are beginning to arrive. Could they be any sweeter?

We are so excited for the genetics to come. With our flock under our two Roosters (Ameraucana) we are looking forward to what's to come. We will continuously have Hatching Eggs available upon request, you may also be added to our waitlist.

We will be posting when we have Ameraucana chicks (Blue Black or Splash) available!

We received our Meat Kings! This year we are trying our hand at 25, and a new setup for the birds, to give them the best possible life while they're here with us. We are aiming to butcher around 8-10 weeks, and hoping to increase our butcher weights from last year's. Always striving for better, after learning from our experiences.

We are beyond thankful for the ability to feed our family and know what is in our food & that our food had a peaceful and respectful life before feeding us.

This momma blessed us with 9 kits during the rainstorm yesterday. These babies are out of Fern (New Zealand) & Monroe (Rex).

This weekend our first litters (Rex & New Zealands) are off to their homes! We couldn't help but fall in love with a couple from our litters and Nicole had some stunning kits available.... so here we are with three little does in the house. Haha at least the hubby is supportive!

It's bittersweet watching the little ones all go off to new homes, but it's nice knowing they'll be loved. It also helps that we got to hold back a couple... I'm interested to see how they'll grow out 👀

Life with the Buns lately!

These babies are so sweet & friendly. They have my whole heart 🤍 Both mommas have weaned their babies, and the kits are eating grain, hay & veggies regularly now! They're incredibly soft, and growing so quickly. Their ears may be catching some radar signals as you read 📡

Both Litters will be leaving us this weekend and we are as thrilled as we are heartbroken to see them go. The Mommas both deserve a much needed rest and break from raising these little ones.

Another flock update!

Just loving the colors and patterns appearing in these growouts! We are slowly getting closer to that dream "rainbow" egg collection.

We have a young Appenzeller Spitzhauben Roo available (free) we have too many! He is sweet and stunning.

Check out this Seasons Egg Colors! 🥚

We are slowly getting closer to that dream rainbow! Our teen girls should start laying any time now, and once they do we will start to see those deep chocolate BCM eggs and some new Easter Egger blues & greens.

We will always have Hatching eggs available (give us a weeks notice) Ameraucana, Green layers & BYM options!

Best part of barn chores is getting to enjoy the animals 🤍 I love being present with the Flock, listening to the wildlife around us and watching how each bird interacts with one another. I have four incredibly well-mannered roosters, I may be a big too proud of 😅

I am so proud of how friendly and sweet my flock is... I have incredibly high standards for the birds I breed and keep. I am so excited to be offering such friendly Ameraucana, Easter and Olive Eggers.

The variety in our flock 😍

The Flock has been getting many frozen treats this week along with ice water 💧 to help keep them cool. Luckily our coop & run is nestled in the shade and gets a nice breeze through it, but the birds are still feeling the heat.

We now have two Ameraucana Roosters, Splash & Blue! With these genes, we are able to offer a wide variety of Easter Egger chicks aswell as pure Ameraucanas! Stay tuned for the hatches due in July!

Our newest additions 😍 Splash Ameraucana hens!! We now have Black, Blue and Splash Ameraucana lines, we will have some available in our upcoming hatch and all hatches moving forward aswell as Green or Blue Easter Eggers!

Another hatch set today! We are so excited for these chicks; Easter Eggers - green, Splash Ameraucana and some Appenzeller Spitzhauben over EEs. They're expected to arrive around July 6th!

A huge thank you to River Run Farm for having us yesterday 🤍I could not recommend reaching out to her more; she is so kind, very knowledgeable, and has put so much passion and effort into her stock.

Life with the Flock lately 🐓

We have finally gotten through the broody season! The ladies are starting to lay again 🫶🏼 We've got a BYM hatch due this weekend, and a Blue layer hatch will be set this weekend aswell!

We are looking forward to adding some Splash and Brown Ameraucana hens to our flock. Our own Ameraucana Roo, Blueman, is coming of age! With his genetics we will be seeing all bright green and blue eggs from our chicks produced here!!

Life with the Buns lately 🐇

Ferrah's litter is doing fantastic, another week or two and they'll be off to their homes! For her first litter, she's done an amazing job being mom.

Fern's kits are fully weaned and some are already gone to their new homes. I've got my eye on a prospect, hoping to see how it grows out, the little Agouti.

Monroe is living it up. Daily adventures in the rabbit tractor and lots of love for the big man. We are expecting more litters in July!
