Remember that announcement we had at the beginning of the month? Well here it is!! Introducing Chrome(solid black) and Sitka(black overo)! Grace and I both purchased these two gorgeous registered paint mares! They are half siblings with the same sire. We are so excited about these girls and can’t wait to work with them!!

Sam has been progressing in leaps and bounds! We were able to stick him in the cross ties for the first time yesterday and he stood like a pro. Worked on getting him more comfortable with people walking around him, walking up to him and retreating as he is quite sensitive. He blew my mind yesterday with how trusting he was. We were able to even pick up both front feet which he was very cautious of at first but slowly relaxed as soon as he realized I wasn’t a c**t trying to take out his legs and was just holding his foot. 😂 next step is to try to get his feet cleaned up!

This little guy is going to make some kid very happy someday soon! He is so incredibly smart and willing to learn. Grace even took up some farrier work and got his feet trimmed up.

Introducing Alena and Bridget! Alena has been struggling with Bridget being very headstrong and pushy with a bit so we decided to remove that and now look at these two! Bridget is learning to roll her neck over nicely and softly with the bosel. Stay tuned to see this future barrel team grow!
