We had an unexpected visitor at the clinic today—a little bird that was stunned after hitting our window. We gave our friend some sugar water and a little time to recover. 🐦💛 We're happy to report that the yellow finch flew away happy and well!

🐾 Tick Talk: Protect Your FURry friends! 🐾
Ticks are not just a nuisance; they can carry diseases dangerous to both pets and humans. Here's what you need to know:
🔍 Identifying Ticks: Ticks can vary in color, from brown to reddish-brown and black. After feeding, they can turn a grayish-white. Regularly check your pet’s fur, especially after walks in wooded areas.
🌿 Habitat Alert: Ticks thrive in grassy, wooded areas and even in your garden! When taking your pets outside, try to keep them away from tall grasses and brush.
💡 Fun Fact: Did you know that ticks can’t fly or jump? They reach their hosts by a method known as “questing,” where they hold onto leaves and grass by their third and fourth pair of legs, waiting to climb onto a passing host.

We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support as we make this transition. Our regular operating hours from Monday to Friday will remain unchanged, and our team will be fully available to assist you during these times.
Once we are able to, we hope to open back up Saturdays when we have the appropriate level of team members to do so while still valuing our team's work-life balance.
