Purebred Bernese Mountain dog before and after a full groom. A purebred dog with this type of hair requires detailed attention. During the bath I put conditioner on the dogs coat and brush them both during the bath as well as after they are fully dry. I scissor cut their feet and I clip in between the pads, and for this dog I also do some thinner work on her chest and on her feathering to get the owner's desired look.

Bernedoodle (Bernese Mountain Dog/Standard Poodle Cross) Before and after full bath, groom and nail trimming. Poodle cross breeds can have varying hair types, which have unique grooming needs. I have lots of experience with many poodle cross breeds and enjoy working with them to meet the owners style expectations.

I have been working with dogs since I was a teenager and love all breeds. I completed a two-year grooming training internship under a master groomer. Following this I worked as an assistant groomer for over three years before working as a head groomer and starting my own home business.
I work methodically and thoroughly through their spa experience by cleaning ears, clippings nails, pre clipping, double shampooing, blow drying, clipping and sc******ng.
In any situations with sensitive pets, I will customize the experience with the owner to ensure a positive and pleasant experience. For example, some young or old dogs do not tolerate the blow dryer and I will towel dry them instead. I do not want the grooming experience to be at all traumatic for the dog.
I work out of my home, so my hours are very flexible.
